This is why SW will just slowly die. Hundreds of LnD Nat 5, and you can play for 5 years straight and get 0. If I get 1 for every year, that's still 5 out of 100ish, and yet most players get 0, not counting freebies nat 5.

as one who only played e7 for a while and quit. im confused af about the summons here in SW. why there are 5 colors for each unit and 2(?) rarities for each color, you "need" to "collect" all of them? sounds like a fcking nightmare for f2p players, holy shit would appreciate explanation xD

Each unit comes in different elements, just imagine they released spectre tenebria, fire tenebria and fairy tale tenebria + the two remaining elements all at once, this goes for every character in summoners war Sometimes for example a unit could be Fire and 4 star or Dark and 5 star.

TL;DR: units released come in 5 elements with a total of 8 skills (1 single S1, 2 S2 and specific S3), and dupe system is to upgrade skils of the units. Monster families are most of the time of same rarity with some exceptions, the usual exceptions are from any collab after Cookie Run Kingdom. Closest comparison to different rarities are Corvus, Aither and Tieria. With some specific cases that are exception for some of the rules the usual is: - Each monster family comes with 5 elements - Upgrading/Feeding fodder to a monster of the same family increases +1 a random skill of the monster - Each monster family has a common Skill 1 across the 5 units, two Skill 2 (each LD with a different Skill 2 and 2 RGB with the same skill) and a unique Skill 3 or passive suited for that unit. - Each monster of the family is of the same grade. Exceptions for each rule: - Some families have special monsters that have a 2nd of the same element and can be skilled up in the same way (Fairy Queen for Fairies, Vampire Lord for Vampires) or there are unique monsters, usually the free unit of a collab. - Some monsters instead of awakening into extra stats or leader skills, awaken for Skill upgrades. - A few monster families have star irregularities. The usual is 2* have 3* counterparts, 3* have 4* counterparts or 4* gave 5* counterparts (sometimes it can be backwards for each case). Usually collabs after Cookie Run Kingdom adds units of 4* and 5* in the same family so people can get at least one 4* of each family, in this case they probably try to add that exclusivity to Gojo as nat 5 only family which I think is horrible and what makes most people get the same 3 RGB 4* units in this collab when the usual was 4-5 units for Street Fighter and Assassins Creed. The most similar comparison to E7 here is for Corvus 4* (Dark Corvus 5*), Aither 3* (Guider Aither 4*) and Tieria 3* (Spirit Tieria 4*).
