Berke Cansız he’s good but he still needs another year to be an asset. He was on Miami with no talent. Now he is on a new team loaded with talent and probably won’t know what to do with himself. Of their other 2, one will still be a threat but the other just got a lot of pressure put on every 3 he shoots, pressure he didn’t have in Miami. Bucks and Sixers are tied for 1st. Everyone keeps underestimating the Bucks. Nobody thought they would get 1st seed last year in the playoffs, and then in total... LEAD the league with the best record. Also do I have to mention the Bucks have the MVP, the 3 point monstrous BIG man Brook Lopez, and I know for sure Middleton and Bledsoe will be better.

no way Philly is the beast team in the East. Having Horford and Embiid alongside eachother is a weird combo. Horford can stretch the floor yes but he’s not the consistent stretch big this team needs. Ben Simmons will not develop a jumper for awhile and defenders are just gonna keep sagging off Ben and standing in the paint. They then will have Harris who is a stretch 4 starting at the 3, which again isn’t terrible on any-other team, but is with Philly because of Ben Simmons. I’m predicting Brett Brown will be fired eventually, because this team is not gonna do too hot this season..

Starting at a position doesn't mean you will only play that position. There's actually a ton of NBA players today that start at a position but have more minutes at another position. The sixers actually did need a guy like Horford. They can afford to take embiid out the game without having their defense be bad(they were ranked 28th in defense effenciency when Embiid was on the bench). I'm not sure what else you want from Al Horford. He shot 41% from deep in the postseason. That's pretty consistent to me.

Not gonna dispute the stats he had later in the year, but I wouldn't say he elevated the level of any of his teammates' game the way Giannis did. Giannis got his stats like Harden, but also brought up everyone around him. This is all not to mention a whole other side of the game..defense. Where there is no comparison between Giannis and Harden. And it's rarely ever been a "give it to the best player in the league" award. Point was just Giannis is arguably top 5 player with so much room to grow his game.

Watching Philly play can be such a painful experience. As an Aussie I want Ben to succeed but he is pretty useless in a half court offensive set...drives hard only to stop in the restricted area looking for the pass! FFS take the open jumper! Embiid can be dominated but also a turnover machine....I just don’t trust Philly in crunch time against good teams. As much as I want them to succeed they are not equipped yet.
