I went to NY to see Dr. B for the ICP/ICT procedure in the fall of 2022. He diagnosed my CCI, tethered cord etc. I am from Nebraska where we struggle to find a Dr. that really knows anything about EDS at all or even belives there is such a thing as EDS. I was grateful to be seen and "heard" by Dr. B. & the many other healthcare professionals that had a part in my care in NY.

I was so grateful for this information, and as someone who has CCI, AAI, and Chiari I’m trying to get a second opinion. Dr B seems to have very divided reviews. All I want is my best chance at returning to the best quality of life possible. People mention that he isn’t board certified? It looks like he’s done two residencies and a fellowship. I’m assuming you all stand by his expertise, correct?

Dr Bolognese did some of his training outside the US and I refer patients to him quite often. All of us physicians will have a wide range of reviews since we deal with a very complicated patient population. Unfortunately, very unhappy people are sometimes the most motivated to write reviews.

Dr. Bolognese and Milhorat saved my life!!! After they opened up my skull for the Chiari Decompression, it was noted that my dura? Was as thin as a potato chip! I had spinal fluid leaking out of little blebs. They helped me become 75% better!!! It's been 20 years since then, I'm going back to have a revised craniocervical fusion (if needed). He will always be one is my special angels here on earth!♥️

@@daliddleOne Wow! Thank you so much for sharing that experience. Those longer term results are crucially important so any more information you are willing to share is much appreciated!

@@bendybodiespodcastRight now I’m in the process of getting all new radiological tests done. Then I’ll send them to Dr B to analyze and decide where to go from here. He’s told me before that my CCF is an older style and we’ll most likely change my old fusion for the newer better design. My next test, the CT angiogram of head and neck are scheduled for next week! I’m looking forward to feeling better!

I have a question for dr bolo. What kind of surgery do you do when it comes to c2-c3 istabilty and it sliding 3mm.. Do you fuse the skull as well and down or do you work your way down like what do you do.
@bendybodiespodcast10 ай бұрын
I would suggest contacting his office with that question.

I can’t seem to get my neurologist and ortho to understand I have CCI. My DMX clearly proves I have significant movement and pinching on right side. TPI does nothing for my tight muscles trying to support my head.

Many physicians do not understand CCI. Have you listened to (or watched) the other CCI episodes?
