what a delight and so wonderful the good old days, life back then was awful boring in the U.K emerged brilliant artists and bands. but what's sadder is that nowadays, the all music industry, fashion and movie industry is boring or equally violent or shallow, no one is talented enough to bring something new, interesting authentic and inventive to the world!

Derek Nimmo goes '77 Punk on the King's Road 0210am 1.5.22 punks on a good day, then? the shop seemed deserted... no one brave enough to enter, i surmise... as for derek nimmo of the bbc - must have been on one of his porn dungeon escapades and met with one of the shop backroom team? con club? i aint a con club affiliate. and it shows. still as for movers and shakers of the piece it must be the con club which gets it al off and rolling, eh?

Great to see all of that, only seen bits of it. Love the shots of the boys (sex pistols) in the shop, that's what punk Was about having fun & a laugh. First phase punk the best 1976 - 78 happy days.

What a great clip, and what a good sport Nimmo was to don the gear! So Rudolph Nureyev bought an Anarchy tee and some plastic trousers? Love it! I was a Punk back then, and did visit that infamous shop...it was expensive!!!

here in the states early 80's shops like 'SEX' were few and far between and always vey pricey which is why over here DIY was most definitely the norm. in fact when english bands would tour over here we used to sometimes refer to them as "punk rockstars" because they were not only snooty but wore really expensive gear. not all of them of course but enough to be noticeable.

Yeah, it’s cool to see the Pistols behaving so properly for Vivienne’s interview. They clearly respected her for helping to develop their look and punk ethos. Johnny gets a good crack in as well, “You look so bloody boring, I can’t believe it.” 😂

Odd hearing little kids say that a man dressed in punk fashion looks stupid, silly, and awful. I’d thought they would’ve been intimidated by it. Suppose it’s just that makeup that detracts.....

I think the reason is kind of " project-thinking" , no room for creative processes anymore. Everyone too busy making money.
