Great list Raffi! A lot of these I have yet to try for myself. If you like Azzaro Chrome the OG, you should try Louis Vuitton Meteore. It's like a niched up, more modern version of Azzaro Chrome, but still managed to evoke some 90's nostalgia when I smelled it the first time. Personally like that one more than the hyped up Imagination. By the way could you mention where I can listen the 'Chairman of the bored' instrumental? Or perhaps share a link? Would be much appreciated, thanks!

You went to the LV store and managed to not try there best fragrance Imagination lol. Go back and try it it’s a beautiful tea cinnamon neroli ambroxan that lasts forever and gets a shitload of compliments.

Agreed it’s quite nice, especially for a fresh scent. Terrific ginger note that reminds me of Dior Homme Sport 2012.

Funny you mention not liking Rive Gauche-I prefer the inspiration, Azzaro Pour Homme for that kind of scent. Any other barbershop fougeres you enjoy? I’m torn between Rogue Bon Monsieur and Penhaligons Sartorial as my current favorites…

Azzaro PH is a favourite of mine too, though I've never tried a 'true vintage', the oldest one i have is from 2010. Bon Monsieur is EXCELLENT! I've been through 4 bottles of Drakkar Noir in the early 90s and I have a soft spot for Brut (the old versions). If you like Sartorial please check out MDCI Invasion Barbare because that's amazing

I think Roja does a good job (even though many of his are inspired by other frags), I also think that for the money, the Les Exclusifs line from Chanel is damn hard to beat

Clive christian make some fantastic fragrances there's a few I don't like town & Country is a masculine BR540 & I don't like that one. Rock rose is incredible I know you said you didn't like that one but it just smells so good. Hedonistic is still available I recently picked up a bottle that's my favourite from the brand. I also own blonde amber but actually prefer amberwood which is also really good.

amberwood is my fav from clive christian... rubbery, powdery, tonka & iris smell to it just like prada luna rossa black
