I LOVE that you are doing drum beats. I spend as much time programming drums as I play bass so I'm a big fan of yours. BTW, I downloaded the Lindrum samples from Lindrum from Mars and they are fantastic. I loaded them all up on my Elektron Model:Samples and it's really nice to sequence beats on that machine. Will be trying to follow this and your When Doves Cry tutorial for practice.

Great job. I’ve done my own on my channel. Also, this beat was a preset on the LM-1 programmed by Dave Garibaldi for the release of the LM-1

Loving this thanks Ted. Where did you source the LM-1 sounds?

Oh Ted, what about Get It Up by The Time. Is it the same pattern? With some of the elements missing. Or, is 777-9311 the same as Get It Up with elements add. Anyway thanks again. Peace

Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn!! Is there any way you would be willing to send the Logic file to me?

Hello David. I am nowhere near as good as Ted Talk Bass but I am more than happy to share Logic files containing Prince style grooves (gratis) if you would like. You can find my tiny channel at kzbin.info/door/wY1IQBQicuraS3NsDV399Q. I also have 777 somewhere if you are interested!

Mr ted your snare pattern is not correct , its not on 2 and 4 the snare is important it locks with the hi hat other than that good job!

Where else on Gods green earth would the snares be? LMBO bahahaha.

Ted Talks Bass no he's right, the clap is steady on the 2 and 4 but the snare is more syncopated
@TedTalksBass3 жыл бұрын
You are both correct. The second snare hit is syncopated
