AeroAlex Have you ever HEARD the vorticies??? You can hear them whip through the overhead power lines on this approach at Albatross St and Ivy St. in San Diego. A real kick in the pants. Even my 84 year old mom was impressed.

747'S (Passenger and Cargo) have landed and taken off from RNY 27. I personally flew out on a United 747 to Hawaii and BA used to fly 747's here way back in the day! I have witnessed Kalitta Air 747's land and take off.

Runway is pretty short in KSAN (9400ft), especially for 777. I bet 777-300 wouldn't be able to do it.

Nikolay Klimchuk British Airways sends their 777 to Kingston Jamaica which is a 8900ft runway and to other countries in the Caribbean with shorter than KSAN
