This song means a lot to me! It made me realize that my Heavenly Father took the effort to inspire some Nordic dudes to make this song in order to reach ME. (An some other metal heads) How cool and laid back is that!

If you are in this style of black metal, i would recommend to you "grave declaration", maybe even "antestor". Hope you like it!

Matt 6:9-13. Love this early Dimmu Borgir/Satyricon-sounding Lord's Prayer! Thank you for Unblack Metal, Heavenly Father!

Give this day our daily metal, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive the makers of satanic black metal and lead us not into evil music but deliver us from the snares of blasphemous metal music. Amen from India.

This is the gift of salvation that Jesus gave us. There is nothing we can do to buy this gift. There is no amount of work we can do to earn it. It is a freely given gift. The only thing asked of us is our belief in Him. That's it. It really is that simple.

When someone sincerely accepts Christ as his saviour and truly repents of his sins, God begins a work in that person. God works in that person from the inside and over time they change. They are no longer who they once were and that change becomes evidenced on the outside.This change is what is meant by being born again and being made into a new creature. All the good that person does is the natural result of the change God has made in that person.

I'm Christian (Catholic actually) and I love black metal sound, especially when it has some more melodic/atmosferic edge to it. This song sounds a bit like Ulver on "Bergtatt", which is a compliment.

First off, whether the world thinks you are a bad person or a good person matters not for we are all sinners and all of us fall short of the glory of God. We all deserve death according to the law. This is why God gave his only son to save us. This is why Jesus chose to sacrifice Himself and then rose again, so that All who believe in Him would be saved. And through His sacrifice the law could be satisfied. All who believe in Him are now dead to the law and have life eternal in Him.

Doing good things doesn't make you a good person, God's good work in you, His changes in you, makes you a good person. God doesn't want a religion with you, He wants a relationship with you.

superthorn96 :)) that's cute! fader vaar means Our Father, and the lyrics are the prayer with the same name. For the record, i'm gonna point out the obvious, they are not black metal, which doesn't make them pagans or anti-christianity. So, I guess you're contradicting yourself. still, cute!

@OushGisher Well the darkness is a very easy thing for people to turn to. Seeing as how people are naturally born sinners, people migrate automatically to the darkness. But if you really think about it, a healthy relationship with God and being Christian takes people a lot of work. So people get lazy, stop caring, and turn to the darkness. It's happening more now than ever before. I personally believe it's because the Rapture is going to happen very soon.

I touch myself, consume too much alcohol, I don't believe in a God. but I still try to help others and do good. does that make me a bad person? :)

Really, what defines a bad person? Doing bad things? If someone who believes in God is a drunk and sexually immoral, does that make them bad? They are sins. Although the world might not forget about them, If you have accepted God as your lord and savior, you can repent, and they will be forgotten to God, and that is really all that matters.

No, no, no. You have it wrong. God does not want you to be sexually immoral. God thinks sex is a beautiful thing, when used in the right way.
@TheTainowill12 жыл бұрын
And as far as doing good things making you a good person goes, that's all wrong too. If you believe that then you've been suckered by another lie spread by religion. After all, aren't" bad people" capable of doing good works? Aren't" good people" capable of doing evil works? Do you really think that the works of a man makes him good or bad? That's where religion has it all wrong.
@TheTainowill12 жыл бұрын
Secondly, as far as doing good making you a good person or doing bad making you a bad person, that is all nonsensical rubbish. There is no small sin or big sin. There is no cardinal sin or mortal sin. That is man made religious garbage. It is a heretical lie created by satan and spread by man. To God its ALL sin and it's ALL bad. It doesn't matter what it is, God sees it ALL the same and He doesn't like any of it.
