777X First Flight Takeoff: Up-close employee view

Boeing 777X (777-9) first flight from just outside the runway at Paine Field in Everett, WA. This plane is massive, the longest commercial airliner in the world at 285 feet from Radom to Empennage (head to tail). Wing length tip-to-tip is 235 feet expanded, 218 feet with wing tips folded up (to fit into parking spots at airports). Amazing to see the plane finally take its first flight after 7 years of development! A proud moment for all of us at Boeing!!!
