Had a 75 highboy built 390, milled n ported heads, bored, cam, balanced with 10 inches of lift on 44 inch hogs. Was wicked! Had a 79 front clip. Sold it years ago to a marina. They took off the lift and still 20 years later using it to pull boats! This video brings back memories!

Not a '79....thats a hi-boy and those went to '77 1/2. Thats a '79 grill. I wouldn't be surprised if that last hole that stopped him cold didn't break anything. That was a hard hit.

Drive angles were recently changed still need to rotate pinion back down, but the 1410 u-joint has held up to it all summer. Planning to rotate to the right angle over winter.

@@iddddaduncan its probably not the stock transmissions and tc considering the motor is a 514 big block and these trucks came stock with the biggest motor option being a 460, Im just getting into these trucks so I could be wrong, but from the trucks I've seen, its probably an all aftermarket powertrain
