wow wow wowww..... a big shout out to you. Thank you very very much for sharing a whole speaking section. it helped me to understand the speaking section from a whole new perspective. all these days i used to think speaking is about going slow with perfection, now I understand its actually about fluency and pretending that my speaking is smooth. thank you again very very much. I have subscribed to your channel. keep up the good work. god bless you.

[Read Aloud] I have the feeling that speaking really fast, half of the time given as you do, is something that tricks PTE to score really high! None of the PTE coaches advise this. They actually say to not speak too fast as you tend to make some mistake if you do so. In fact, many people have shown that you can score really high by speaking at a moderate pace. The thing is... Speaking super fast (around half of the time) seems to be a way to crack the PTE algorithm. Please I appreciate if you can comment this. Thank you
@MoniPTEMAGIC6 жыл бұрын
Hi John, I actually have read some research on marking algorithm and found that your speech is compared with the native speakers' . According to their benchmark, a typical native speaker can read up to 150 words per minute, which means for the average texts in Read Aloud with around 60 words, candidates should not spend more than 23 seconds. Hence, you can use the timing as a criterion for evaluation when practicing. However, if your problem is Pronunciation, then I recommend to work on that first prior to gradually accelerating your pace.

Hi bro, this is actually true. I am very average in speaking but I got a score of 90 in speaking, in mocks I got very very less, really thankful to her for this. It is just luck that just before 1day I saw this Video.

Thank you Moni your videos are really informative. Last exam I got 90 in reading writing and listening but got 77 in speaking. My fluency was 90 but my pronunciation was 66. Any suggestion for me. I am really worried because all the time I am missing at speaking because of my pronunciation. Any small help would be great.

Hi Ganesh, I took the full test, but for the purpose of this video I just cut the other parts and showed Speaking Session only :) In the short answers, you can repeat your answer twice to make sure that the microphone records the answer correctly.

HI Moni ,, I have a question in Read aloud. I have checked the timing of your recording which is close to 17 secs but when I checked mine it always comes close to 19 secs. I recently took the MOck test and got 90 in Oral fluency and 25 in pronounciation. Does this 2 secs difference has any impact .

Can we say "something" if we miss some words in the repeat sentences and can we give 2 times answer for answer short questions??
@akki100boyz5 жыл бұрын
Yes you can say anything just don't skip any question because content gives very few marks but try to say something from the sentence because it will give marks in listening section too and for short answer questions yes you can say multiple words and why it is suggested because sometime you don't know if you need to say walk or walking so be on safe side

After watching this video, I realized that, who ever purchases the mock tests, the questions will be same. Because I could see the same questions here when compared the mock test A questions which I purchased. Also, the 3 mock tests are equal in terms of difficulty except the type of questions.
