The "Benny Hill Theme" is actually the 1963 instrumental "Yakety Sax" performed by Boots Randolf which made it to #35 on the pop charts that year. It was played on the radio all the time back then, and "Boots" made a number of TV appearances by himself and with other notable musicians such as Chet Atkins and Ray Stevens.

I've spent hundreds of hours on KZbin, watching videos on all sorts of things, such as weightlifting, politics, science, philosophy, random facts, but for me this has been the most informative video I've ever watched. It's always bothered me to hear a piece of music I enjoyed but due to a lack of lyrics, been unable to find it. I really like classical music, but haven't wanted to spend hours wading through playlists to find the ones I recognize. It's also a pet peeve of mine when radio stations don't announce the song that's playing, because it isn't always easy to make out enough lyrics to find it online.

Soul Bossa Nova was arranged by Quincy Jones, right? I swear this isn't to start a debate but THE Quincy Jones was a phenomenal composer and made some of the best tunes that are very recognizable. If you like Sanford and Son then you most definitely like Quincy Jones. R.I.Power King!!
