Only read if you have a spare 10 minutes Let me tell you a story: It was 2 PM and I started attempting my evening mock of jee advanced after I already had done the morning one which didn't go too well but it wasn't too bad either. Anyways I started by Chemistry, which looks very easiest too me(I also get the most negatives in that, so yeah) and I completed Chemistry within 30 mins, it was ok. Went To Physics and I shat myself, I didn't understand a Single Question. First Section was the Multiple Correct Answer type, First Question is of Surface Tension, shii I haven't studied Surface Tension Ok onto the next one! Second Question is of Rotational Mechanics, Leaving that too since I am leaving that chapter, third Question, A very hard Question of NLM involving many blocks and wedges, leave that too. Onto the fourth one, which was a easy question of Thermo, Striked my mind perfectly and did that under 2 minute, on to the next one. A Fluid Mech Question, shii again left that, Next and last one was the most toughest problem of that paper, it involved symmetrical Resistances which had a very hard pattern to see which I left accordingly. Now almost 30 mins had passed, the amount of time in which I had done Chemistry I only "saw" 6 Questions of Physics and only attempted a single one. Mind you I wasn't even attempting the question, i read the question and was trying to understand what was it trying to say then figuring out this was the topic that I don't know and left that. Needless to say, I did very bad in that paper and got 9/200. I wasn't able to do a single question of math and I almost got a panic attack, I felt like dieing when attempting the paper, it was the worst paper I have ever attempted. Thanks for reading my story, hope it didn't took too much of your time.

bruhh ,thats why i never trust on any mocks for this crucial examinations ,i only attempt previosu year papers as complete mocks ,and even if i know the answer of the question i will solve the question if i am not able to solve the solve the question i will leave that question even if i know the answer, cuz this exams need confidence ,you should have self confidence while attempting the actual jee advanced and i dont want to shatter my confidence by giving an irrelevant mock and scoring 20/396 after 2 years of hardwork ,confidence is the key bruhh ,its not the time to learn its time to revise what you have learnt ,and previous year papers are great way of gaining confidence and revisig whole advanced syllabus ,it better to solve a jee advanced pyqs in 3 different ways rather than solving new questions

Yes sir ...once in jee advanced mock test ..i did this ki agar question thik se samajh nahi aaya toh skip karo ...i realised i skipped 15 question in 2 minutes 😳😳...i then couldn't handle the pressure..i thought mujhe kuch nahi aata ...and i left the test...later while seeing solution...i realised that not only i could have done 5-6 questions from that 15 questions ( if i read them again carefully) bit also there were many questions in chem and maths i could have done easily...

Yes sir, it happens a lot. If I have to leave more than 3 in a row, my confidence goes down into the depths of hell and my score is almost half of what I score if I do it more strategically(attempting paper of strong subject first and selecting quesation). Example, last test I had to skip over 4 questions in a row and my score was 50/162. Then came paper 2, I was well rested and I approached paper more carefully and I scored 120/174..

yes sir 100 percent agree. I tried following easy , medium , tough strategy as suggested earlier by my teachers, but my marks dropped miserably as Medium and tough questions leave krte krte hi paper khatam ho jaata tha. Its important that thoda fight marna chahiye with medium looking questions becuase they turn out to be just conceptual and give easy marks . Scored 139/183 in 2017 paper1 when I followed my old strategy
