Hey Luke. I know you get this all the time but your podcast rocks. I mean it. Somehow you turn language-learning into something special and absolutely enjoyable. I don't know which of the two short stories with Doppelgangers I loved the most, and if I didn't love the two as much as I loved that very emotional story named The Mountain with that woman too perfect to be real. But what I wanted to tell here is that you are not only a remarquable teacher, but also a good actor, when you explain the state of mind and the feelings of your character. I adored the expression of your face in the first Doppelganger; there you really were looking like Othelo in tho moment when he discovered the betrayal ( which it was not a betrayal but who cares?) But the most extraordinary in all you do is that you teach your students not only the English language, but also how one must to read the prose if not to write it. I think the last line of the first story, ‘’ as I no longer wanted to look at the you who wasn’t you’’ , conveyed two unspoken feelings. One is the man really just a doppelganger, and the other is her love just fell in love with someone else, and he was no longer the one who loved her so much, the one she knew.
