7artisans 35mm f1.2 Mark II APS-C | Sony E, Fujifilm, Nikon Z
7artisans has released their new APS-C lens the 35mm f1.2 Mark II. This is the second version of this lens and one would assume this lens is an upgrade to the previous version. Needless to say the 7artisans lens has decent image quality for its price and offers a nice wide f1.2 aperture.
This lens expectedly is not as sharp wide open at f1.2 but stopping it down to f2.8 and you can expect tac sharp images in the centre.

I have a particular grading style on my photos depending on the look I want. It is all accomplished in lightroom or can be done in any other editing software.

Public service, for anyone interested on this or any other manual focusing lens/adapter that doesn't have any sort of contacts on the mount: The functionality displayed on this video from @2:36 to @2:53 is not what really happens. The video is showing this while having another lens mounted to the camera. When you have a lens that doesn't have any contacts on the mount, the F stops are not passed into the camera (nor the metadata), and when you move the focusing ring on the lens, it doesn't show you the distance scale on the screen as this fragment shows. Sorry but I find it wrong you show something like this on the video, without making the proper clarification about it.

About the aperture clicks: I just bought a unit and the clicks are extremely subtle. They must've changed something since this review, because it's almost as clicky as it is clickless, if that makes sense. It's suuuuuper smooth and soft to turn. I even tried multiple units at the store and they are all like that.

My only grime, as a Fuji user, it is heavier than xf 35 1.4 that is sharper at the center wide open

are lens like 7Artisans and Meike cheaper because they dont support Auto Focus? Im assuming most lens are also go by glass quality as well. I'm curious to know why these lens are much more affordable than ones by Sigma

It's mainly due to being complete manual lenses. A lot more tech goes into auto focus lenses and performance

From what I've read and watch, yes but not by much. Mark I is a tad smaller and lighter but have clickless aperture ring, Mark II have clicked aperture ring and better flare control (presumably sharper) but it's heavier. The lens body are also different with Mark I having some star shaped focus ring while the Mark II is your typical smoother looking ring, I think both looks nice but Mark I is definitely the quirkier of the two.
