@@CineDailies wow great! Between I follow your channel alot. I used to be a Fujifilm xt3 shooter till my camera got damaged. Hoping to get a Fujifilm xh2s when I have the money. I guess the 7 Artisans is a great option for X mount cine lens. I personally know I won't be shooting a wide open aperture. 2.0 or 2.8 is enough for me. Love from Nigeria, Africa

Great music. I know it is shallow and shouldn't matter, but the short and fat lens looks great on the camera. I do love wide lenses. At first they are not so easy to work with but then you start to learn how to compose with them and a video crop makes it so much easier. The up close but wide look is wonderful. The relaxed mood of your video is also fun.

regarding cinema lens on the fuji xh2s, will the anamorphic lens from Sirui stay at a true focal reading of say 24mm? Or does it also have a crop to be equivalent of 35mm with a larger FOV for the anamorphic look? Cant find any info on it.
@CineDailies Жыл бұрын
It's a yes and no, anamorphic focal length - depending on the squeeze factor (1.33, 1.5, etc) your FOV (field of view) will change but the compression with stay constant. For example a 50mm 2x anamorphic lens on full frame will have a FOV of 25mm but will retain a 50mm compression and character.
@thejobrien Жыл бұрын
@@CineDailies gotcha okay. Was mainly wondering because they dont offer a 35mm for the fujis, so I was thinking maybe the 24mm would be like all other "normal" lens I use which would give me a the full frame equivalent of 35mm but it seems the 24mm anamorphic will give me the wide angle compression at 24mm and a FOV closer to ..18ish even wider. Gotcha. Shame they dont have a 35mm for a wider angle FOV.

hi, I'm looking at a lens that I can use for video on my fujifilm xh2s device, is it possible for me to get the same efficiency as other brands' lenses? or should I just use fujinon lenses? but what I'm really saying is that I'm planning to work entirely on video shooting and I don't want to have a problem with autofocus or depth of field. Could some lenses be more inefficient in terms of clarity and depth of field than fujinon lenses? (especially in video shooting) for example, what are the disadvantages of lenses such as sigma, artisan viltrox or samyang compared to fujinon lenses?
