I am old but I like this song. I do not know which message it conveys. I knew an old woman back in the 80th who really loved Grace Jones' song "I have never seen this face before" because of the accordion part. That cracked me up. With me it is the other way around: "Believer" could have been so much better without these high pichted voices reminding of the German band "Modern Talking".
