Not only that, but Rangers were hootin and hollering off singles. I can't remember who it was but one of them flipped their bat from a walk LOL. And of course getting that cheesy run off Choo's bat in top of the 7th was ridiculous. If there is a thing called Karma, that was it in the bottom of the 7th 100%.

Curtis Hunter game 6 2011 World Series. Cardinals were down to one strike TWICE and almost lost it all. In the end David freeze Became the clutches man on earth and ended it with a walk off homerun, and the cardinals won it all in game seven.

100% agree and also the best game i've seen in any sport. Of course if you're not a jays fan they won't get it. But to not make the playoffs for 20 or so years, then come into this series and go down 2 games to none, playing each game for your life and then coming back only to go down 2-0 in this game, and then tie it and then have a run given to texas to take the lead, all the emotion, the tension, everything basically culminated in that 7th inning, and then Bautista bomb, the single most electrifying moment in sports history for me.

i been a baseball and a Toronto blue jays fan a year before they one their first world series 1992, and when they were going threw the up and downs specially the downs it was hard to watch blue jays baseball, then came 2015 and this game it bought life back into why i love the blue jays and why i love baseball and since then i been going to Toronto game live, this was truly amazing and give me chills watching it on the television, it would of been nice if this team won the world series, just the charters of players that really made it special, god bless those jays :)

First off - 24:19 ...I was literally sitting exactly like that while watching this video, and have everytime I have rewatched the 7th inning since. Makes me laugh everytime. This video was great. I think you spaced everything out perfectly, and let the real intense moments hang just enough for it to pull people back in. As we were getting into the game it started feeling like re living it. The rage inducing top of the 7th, to disbelief we ACTUALLY gave up that run in such a tense situation. Then directing the rage at the dumb ass fans who were throwing shit and hitting people in the front row. I mean, emotions were high thats for sure but there is no reason for that. But then the bottom of the 7th...just gift after gift after gift. You really couldn't have written it any better without making it seem over the top impossible. The Bautista homerun was THE most magical moment I have ever witnessed in sports. That whole game was. The only shame is knowing there is little to no chance of ever witnessing a game like that again. But then again, baseball has a way of making you feel that magic anyways so I just keep on watching. Thanks for the vid, I will come back to watch it from time to time.

Allow me to address the music. The music is there for added drama. If you'd like to watch highlights of this game without music there are plenty of places to do it. Regarding the volume, I apologize. I actually thought the opposite. I hate to be that guy, but the constant music for 30mins kind of took away from the natural tension of baseball moments and the consistent page flipping transition made me feel like I was watching a middle school home video. All I wanted was to relive the crazy 7th inning as a blue jays fan, and I ended up just being annoyed. I'm probably just an asshole though.

Hey love the video. Very well put together. A couple things you could improve on though. A lot of the time your music was too loud compared to the announcer audio making it hard to hear them and the page turn transitions are a bit cheesy and unpolished looking. Wipes in general these days look quite outdated and low budget. A dissolve or white flash would have looked have looked better and are basic transitions that'll be built in to your editing software. :)

Loved this game but I still can’t stand those super bias American commentators. Just always trashing Canadian baseball right and left “people in the Rogers Centre have never seen this before”. Dude, most people haven’t seen that play and there are 50,000 people in there I’m sure a lot of them knew that ruling. Then they came back again last year because Rogers can’t get an MLB playoff deal. Only reason I detest watching post season ball. Just tuned Fan 590 and watched on TV last year. Doesn’t look like we’ll be able to watch the Jays in October this year though :(.

I don't think he did it purposely in that moment. If you watch other at bats by Chu it's a common thing he does. Perhaps it's a calculated idiosyncrasy, but I think at this point it's just habit. I don't mean that he's not a very intelligent ballplayer, just that I don't think he imagined in a million years that what ended up happened was going to happen.

I'd been a to a number of Jay's games prior to '99 (including one of the '92 world series games), but in all of those games, I never saw another Jay's batter stand there and admire his home run ball as much as Bautista. It shows really poor sportsmanship to just stand there then toss the bat as if he were the second coming of some deity. Batters are often deliberately thrown at, at their next at-bat. It looks cheesy, just like that soup-catcher of his...I couldn't care less how good a player he is, it's just a strong sign of disrespect toward the pitcher, and shouldn't be tolerated.

The problem I have with this - is the home plate ump tells Sanchez and Martin the play is dead by waiving off / dead with his hands ... so they don’t even try to make a play.... so wether or not he made the right call - he made the call and waived his hands telling the Jays it was a dead ball - so they obliged and did not make a play.... when they reversed the call, I get that they wanted to get the rule right - but what about the fact that the ump told the jays to stop playing? wether they could have made the play or not is irrelevant - as that is up not something can ever know..... anyways - THE GOOD THING??? The baseball gods agreed with me .... as they blessed the Blue Jays in the bottom half of the 7th.... and, as they say .... the rest is history! Great mini documentary too! Thank you for making this! Ps: Like this if you believe Toronto was meant to win this game!

travis becker Yep plus I thought about it, what rights does a catcher have in this situation? Was Choo in the batters box? Yes. Was his bat in the batters box? Yes, mostly, but it was drifting back into the catchers area a little bit. So basically the rule states, I can go up there as a batter and stick my bat towards the catcher every time and there's nothing he can do about it? I know the rules are the rules, so it was called correct. However, I disagree with the overall rule, I think Choo's bat was close enough to Martin to interfere with his throw back, batters box or not, your bat can still be in the way. I strongly disagree with this rule for the catchers sake, even though it didn't matter in the end result.

Travis B the ump also waived it off - that’s why Martin, Sanchez or any other jays tried to do anything - the ump called it a dead ball.... I get they wanted to get the call right - but the ump had said to the Jays no - stop playing - dead ball.... so you can’t then charge them for a run after tell them not to attempt to stop it. Seems as though the baseball gods agreed lol

Be thankful to your fans and the fear they put into the Ranger fielders. Cole Hamels and Adrian Beltre had about the only cool heads in that inning. Hamels made pitches that resulted in 3 easy outs, and 2 potential double plays. The defense committed 3 errors and every run was unearned. That was FEAR. The Rangers were not certain if they were gona get out of Toronto unharmed, so they lost their composure and made stupid mistakes they never made before. They got in Elvis Andrus' head for real. I'd never seen that guy make 2 errors in a game before, let alone one inning.
