Rob your song explains all the emotions one goes through when growing fancy peppers from seed! One thing I didn't realize would happen while I was taking care of my 60 pepper plants... was that they were taking care of me! Who would have thought? I have gotten healthier, lost weight and my skin is nice and tan from all the days in the sun staring at my plants waiting to see that first pod! I am also a month behind here in Utah from 3 weeks of rain but now I'm getting some seriously large bushy plants with PODS! Cheers Rob!

Thanks for the video. I live in Western NY and have never tried peppers.... until this year. One of our wettest too. I bought only four plants and my planting was late late July. Long story short... we have all the wrong soil here so I put two from the garden in pots and the took off but a month was wasted. Just getting my first peppers of good size now. Many on the plant but our sun is slowly fading so I don’t expect a big harvest. I’ll know better better for next year when I go strictly to pots.

I'm not an expert in this area, but I used to steep the tobacco from a cigarette in a dish soap solution with a few drops of cooking oil, then spray on the leaves. But now I don't know anybody who smokes. Most bugs don't like the tobacco smell.

In addition to pruning, you really need to wash the dirt off the roots and repot if you don't want to bring in pests. Khang Starr has some good videos on this. I'm going to try his method and film it for an upcoming video.

Hello Rob, I have a question. How can you eat super hot peppers? I'm trying because I also would like to be able to eat very super hot peppers like the Carolina Reaper.But its too hot for me. Even Habaneros are already very very hot for me. I can just eat little pieces. Can you please tell me how I can get used to eat very hot peppers? Do I have to eat them every day and always increse the pepper heat? And how long does it take till I can be able to eat very hot peppers? How long did you take? How did you do it? I would be very very happy for an answer! Thank you :)
@7PotClub5 жыл бұрын
It's a really good question. With me, it just developed over time. I've slowly been introduced to hotter and hotter peppers and condiments over decades. So, yes, I think eating hot peppers every day is part of it. I have no empirical evidence to back this up, but I think there may be a genetic component where some people and more drawn to and can handle extremely hot food. I wish someone would do more research in this area. 🌶
@rajeevgaur24415 жыл бұрын
@@7PotClub Ok, thank you for the answer. Yes its true, a good research would help. So I'm just going to try to eat hot peppers during the next days. I have another question. Is it normal that if you eat very hot peppers that you feel a very unpleasent hot stomach ache for a long time after eating the pepper? It happened to me. It was really, really very uncomfortable. That also kind of stopped me than again from eating hot peppers for some time. Thats so sad. And did you eat the hot peppers by yourself or is it because your family ate them a lot as well and wanted you to get used to them? Thanks for your answer again! I really hope that I can also get used to super hot peppers!
@7PotClub5 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's normal to get stomach and intestinal cramps if you ingest too much capsaicin. It happens to me occasionally. It can be extremely unpleasant. If it happens, Pepto Bismol helps a little. My family liked mildly spicy food, but I did not encounter really hot food until I was in my twenties.
@rajeevgaur24415 жыл бұрын
