It didn't make sense to me because even if the knife was poisoned on one side, she would've still been poisoned herself. Because when cutting something like meat or bread, the slices would fall on top of each other or crumbs or meat shreds would end up mixing no matter which way it's cut. On top of that, how did she serve it? Because if she used the nice to scoop it on to her plate, there will be poison on her plate and it would make a mess if she flipped the meat onto her plate too. Which was why I thought since she gave him the meat with the bone, he may have choked on a piece of it.
