I used to stay up at the 7W with my family summers in the early '60s thru 1967. I'm surprised that for a few updates, it still looks pretty much the same. Burt George and his wife Claudie (RIP) owned and ran it then with their son Harold. It's true that it backs up to huge tracts of govt forest land, and the horseback riding & scenery I remember was incredible. Wildlife like you only dream about. I'm glad to see it's still there. I'd love to go back some time just to see it again. Whatever they want for it, it's worth it.

It's not Vail. Vail is ~60 miles east. The 7W is about 20 miles N of Dotsero in some wonderfully beautiful open country that borders Natl Forest.
