OK, in my goal of doing a video for every song off “The Intentional Whatever”, and release them in sequence, I’m skipping a track (“My Own Self”). I’ll explain why later, but for now, let’s jump to track #6, one of my favorites!
“Quiet Is Kept” has two different themes taking place, though they aren’t necessarily unrelated. Part of the lyrics speak to the idea of “What radicalized you?”, as well as, “How are you not radicalized?”. And the other prevailing message is about not giving the “enemy” the satisfaction of you feeling overwhelmed, while at the same time, also not letting them know your wins, since ‘they” are prone to find a means to use that against you.
