Yeah, dark ruler no more is better than droplet in D/D/D since pendulum cards that already on field cant be sent to GY, thus limiting our choice. Plus, Ragnarok which one of our engine made half damage anyway, so it's better to sacrifice damage on turn to destroy opponent's board and make our own board.

very true plus our endboard is always full of disruptions so it's hard for the opponent to come back turn 3.

Do you use that specific x2 kaiju for anything in particular? Isn't the moth one with 2700 atk easier to deal with?

That despia player really said nah after getting dark ruler no more it's such a great board breaking card. It's really a staple card you must have.

Yea but the fact you deal no battle damage lessens its power imo, especially against Branded Despia. I'm not sure that despia player knew that... I'm pretty sure Mirrorjade would've still nuked Yami's monsters after it left the field that turn ..
