I'm British, and find it really sad that Chuck E Cheese is getting rid of the animatronics. Those robots are literally the only reason the restaurant really became famous in the first place. I probably wouldn't have heard of the place if it wasn't for them. It's honestly a shame that when I'm older and visit America, I won't be able to see them. Let's face it, the Animatronics are American Legends/Icons.

It makes me so sad! I remember going to see the 3 set original one. It was amazing! Now I'm raising my grandson who is 7 was and autistic and we have had every birthday there including on September 4th were having his party there. I wish he got to experience it too.

Completely agree and am in the UK too. The only reason Chuck e cheese is known in pop culture and globally through the internet is because of the bots. I knew I had to get my hands on a bot when I realised how little we may see of them in public in the future..

Yeah UK used to have its own place called Hannah Banana but it shut down in 2015 because a woman sued them for a piece of glass being in her son’s pizza

Someone needs to start a petition to keep that CEC stage alive. I went there a few months ago and it was the first time I ever saw the full stage. Easy to say I got attached to them. I really want that stage to stay around, so a piece of history still lives. Heck, it could be sort of an attraction I think. There are a lot of people I know that agrees. I would make a petition, but I don't know how to.

That's amazing! Honestly it's surprising to see such an old stage in that good of shape! I've never been spooked or intimidated by animatronics. Unlike lots of people. But CU-1 stage is definitely an acception for me. I think I find them creepy due to knowing their background and watching the concept unification videos when I was a teenager. I'll definitely have to see if I can visit this stage some time soon.

This location was originally a Showbiz, opened in '83. The original Chuck E. Cheese opened in '82, and was just around the corner and a mile away (and is now a horse race betting salon). Thanks for the cool vid!

If you have time, I would recommend you try to drive down to the last 3 Stage California. The place is very nice, clean, and the animatronics are actually in better shape then you’d think!

The Fargo location is worth checking out, if you get the chance. It’s the only 3-stage in ND. According to a friend who worked there recently, they still have a Billy Bob costume in the back, along with a bunch of old Showbiz posters.

That chuck e cheese in Springfield has had a BAD reputation for many years with everything. Although it looks like they may have cleaned it up now from the looks of it in your vid or u caught them on a good day. On another note there was once a showbiz in Decatur up thru the 90's but unfortunately it's no longer there.

It is pretty amazing to know about our Chuck E Cheese in Springfield. But that place has been remodeled so many times. They also went to cards, and lost ALOT of buisness doing so. I was just here with my daughter last week and there is always a huge fight there.

Midland, Texas is the last Studio C Alpha/Beta Mix stage. You should go there as they are getting 2.0 soon. That is the rarest stage.

These aren't really that bad when you get up close to look at em, I don't understand why they're going rid of them all they're robots, built to entertain guests and customers alike where fantasy and fun come to life. I wish chuck e cheese would not get rid of it's animatronic mascots they're part of history for generations and generations along the way. They need to get the vintage chuck e cheese back, I wish there was a place for different animatronic pizza chain mascots where they can all be together & play cards & do whatever they want. There's a spirit to these characters that allows em to move through their bodies. A spirit of purpose to entertain the guests of all ages and somehow we all just pretend like it's nothing. If anything I be down to visit a pizza time theater location with EVERY different animatronic mascot. Chuck e cheese, Freddy Fazbear, Billy Bob broccoli, Texas critters pizza jamboree, Bullwinkle's, those types of places make a big place for anyone to visit with animatronics.

This is super nice this was the only 3 stage before it was changed in 2010 to the current stage had the sailor cool Chuck hat that only 2 stages had and was super rare corporate didn’t even have that hat also can you visit Montfort Dallas the first circle of lights and had a test stage called star stage installed 2010 and across the street that was the former location that had the awesome adventure machine installed in 1996 and was the early version of studio c it was canceled in 1997 after costing to much to be put in all stores
