B1, Started listening and couldn't stop listening until the program ended. Shared it immediately with 4 of my friends, but I know their attention span lasts only for about 10 minutes. However, this one may hold their attention for 4 hours because of all the great lessons and the names involved McDonald's and Ray Kroc.

Saw this movie when it came out in January. I admit, Ray Kroc was a visionary. The way he did the McDonald Bros., business wise, was a master stroke that should be in any business 101 book. B1 Family.

We of course only know part of the story and nothing that is the whole truth about this story. However, I don`t think it was his intend to take over everything and make McD his. If the scenes in the movie are true. then he just wanted more money. Not a lot, but more than what he made. And they didn´t want him to own more, which is why the story has ended the way it has.

Louise Andersen I sure hope he intended to take it all. They did that to us for 300 years. They should steal from and destroy each other every chance they get! When they're killing their own, they ain't killing us!

And it would be DIFFERENT is Black people could show ANY type of LASTING wealth from it. But the drug dealers got MILLIONS and then blew it all on SIMPLE things the same way the poorest of the poor among us do. So we are making movies about our FAILURES. Not our SUCCESSES.

Very tired. Not only did the money dissipate, we ended up in debt, culturally. Prison sentences, deaths, children born to addict parents, loss of property value, section 8, perpetual criminal veneration, and traumatized people across the nation. The Bloods and Crips are a big deal, no doubt. But they're no MS-13.

A little over an hour into this broadcast, and I thought about something DL Hughley told VladTV: he was saying that at the time he grew up in LA (during the 70s and early 80s), the black people around him would be influenced heavily by movies. In the 70s, everyone wanted to be Shaft or "🎶everybody was kung fu fighting 🎶", and then when scarface came out in the 80s everyone wanted to be drug dealers. Judging from what I've been seeing lately out here in LA, this film might be this generation's scarface.

So you would listen to someone who has never accomplished what it is that you want to accomplish? That is why we struggle so much. Do we have such a limited mindset that we don't even believe we can find that mentor that knows what they are talking about and can guide us? Did you not listen to the video? That is what Ray Croc did. The Macdonald brothers were being successful at what they were doing so Ray listened to them, instead of his neighbor. The fact that we consider that concept insane is one reason why we aren't building an economy.
@TheBlackAuthority
@TheBlackAuthority 7 жыл бұрын
Martonyo you are incorrect. Black people need to find MENTORS. Whether they be Black or not. Besides we have Google today. There is ZERO excuse for not getting the proper mentoring. And using the term "imperialist" among Black people is just corny, my dude. Tighten up. Stop with the emotional outbursts. It's not adult.

Im not a Connor Mcgreggor fan at all but girlfriend recognised the spark in his eye years before he made it big. She was way out of his league when it came looks or status. All she saw is a man with a dream and a unrelenting drive and believe in himself, he didn't have 2 cents to rub together and she was supporting him in pursuit of HIS dream because she believed in it TOO. And now that he's made it big she is reaping the rewards. A lesson we can all learn when it comes to recognising the right partner.

Just started listening BUT I ALREADY KNOW TBA IS expanding my knowledge base. Keeping it 100% REAL WITH ALL TRUTH is what us B1 Brigade Family needs & wants. To tell the truth Ray Kroc has been a hidden force behind my business concepts since I was a little girl. I'm in my 40's now. I happened across his documentary then and 1 idea he did struck me. For those of you who don't know. When he started out & wanted to expand. He had helicopters fly over every area of the US. He did no extensive search but what he told the people in the helicopters is write down every place that has a huge church. He said wherever those are we will build a McDonald's. That stuck in my head. To this day I have researched & found that Alll the earlier McDonald's were by a church. So for that alone. I thought here's man with no prior marketing only what he knew he wanted to happen & took the basic to become extraordinary in dominating that industry was good for thought. I'm in business and what is being said is so true. I'm also working very hard to bring OUR PEOPLE TOGETHER FOR ECONOMICS. Thank you TBA your words are appreciated & valuable. Peace&Blessings B1Family

My lesson: I was brainstorming at my desk at home in 2008 and came up with an exceptional name for a website and business. So, a year later after having the site up for a while, I told a white male coworker the name of my site. We were cool coworkers. Guess what he said? He says, I cannot believe that name. I am going to take that name from you. He was serious. I said good luck. What I did 8 years ago was buy the domain name and registered it as a corporation in NY. Almost all in the same day. In NY, you can incorporate for $150 on your own, initially. Anyhow, he cannot buy the .com. Ironically, I am just getting started with the site after 8 years, but it feels good.
@thebrownsausage
@thebrownsausage 7 жыл бұрын
Lesson 2: This lesson involves the white man's lover. I really should do a video on my experiences. Instead of going too deep, I gave a cousin a business card of my other website, which is a proprietorship and the look of envy was unbelievable. It was similar to the look my so-called buddy at work gave me. That is the short part. It is nothing wrong with revealing stuff, but it cannot be done to malicious people. Protect your stuff!

@culturefreedom89 We do that because we have such a low view of ourselves and see everyone else as better that us. We haven healed the mental, physical, emotional, spiritual and energetic abuse that was done to us (and is still being done), and as long as we are still carrying around that damage, we will never be able to treat each other respectfully and see the value in each other. Once we do that, the rest will take care of itself with a little focus and some intentioned action.

Excellent break-down of this movie. I'm ashamed to admit that I believed for a long time that working hard was a virtue for no other reason than to support myself at somebody else's business. Meaning I was told until I entered the Army to "graduate from HS so you can go out and get a job from the "MAN", work hard for the "MAN" (so he can give you a paycheck), go to college so you can get a better job from the "MAN". I was never told from my family when I was younger to learn to be in business for myself, work hard to educate yourself to be more than a wage slave and build my own empire.

@bittertruth G that's the story for many of us. Our parents, and their parents before them, placed their faith in the " MAN " for their future, not in themselves. Another great example of choice decision is "Hick's Law." The more choices one has, the longer it takes to decide vs. the less to decide from. Great video. Very informative. When you made the example of best artist doesn't guarantee success made me think of a comic book artist named Todd McFarlane. Tired of being cheated out of his creative expression at Marvel, he and other artists started Image comics publishing, Spawn, and his own toy empire becoming a multi-millionaire. He also invested in MLB signed baseballs, making another profit. He wasnt the best artist, but a brilliant businessman.

After thinking about smothering here with that pillow she was laying on, fully dressed, in the middle of the day, watching some rag tv show, I just turned around & left. That was the last time I saw her. She sent me a text with here phone number after seeing me with my new woman, (that I married). I deleted that shit by crushing that damn phone. I was making about $67k annually when I got married. Three years later I was at $600k annually. My wife just does exactly what I tell her to do at my business, that I own. From the first moment Crock encroached with the real-estate company, the brothers should have moved on him legally. They should have fought him over the instamix... I mean they were getting the franchise profits... they couldn’t have been that destitute. Point is... this did become a battle of wills, and in a battle like that, the creators should have been the last ones standing. They should have called his bluff! Great video. #B1

This world is fucked up. We spend time teaching our kids these "ethics and morals" but when we are adults we throw it out and wonder why we have bad people and criminals, the poor and the destitute when we are creating a system produces nothing but these people unless you are like ray croc etc. Multiple people on this thread praising this pirate.

When The Founder first came out, I recall telling a lot of people to go see it, since it spoke to me way more than the black movies out at the time. Another great movie, is "Capt. Fantastic" about a father grappling with raising his children alone in the wilderness.

Watched the movie and loved it. If he didn't meet Sonneborn who knows what mcdonalds would be today 🤔 I guess beside hard work and dedication you also need a bit of luck on your path. Ray did what the brothers were afraid to do. This goes to show that sometimes we need to risk it all for the biggest benefit.

I remember when TBA did this broadcast. I listened to all 4hr religiously. I’m appreciative that he brought this out form the vaults and blessed us with this ISM. TBA flowing from the survivor scrolls. 👊🏿✌🏿

The brother with the construction company seems very frustrated with authority and the fact that these young bloods haven't worked hard like him but want it easy. I hope the best for him because like Jason said he needs to work on his people skills and talk less in order to become a leader who people want to for..he may also need to work on his emotional issues.
