Why some people have a completely different number where the C number is suppose to go?
@leggyladdie2 жыл бұрын
Because 'c' is not the only number that goes in that part. It is technically 'a*c', but for most of these examples it turned out to be '1*c' so I'm guessing she did not think it was necessary to explain it for this vid. So top part will usually be 'a*c,' and then you find two numbers which multiply to be 'a*c' and add to be 'b'. Hope that makes sense, sorry I'm like 3 years late lmao.

what if its an equation like 6b^2 + 72b = -210
@christopherclater33402 жыл бұрын
First, move the -210 to the left of the equation by adding 210 to both sides. Factor out a 6, then use the cross method to factor.

Ahh, I think you had a bit of premature x insertion. 7w?????? 7x makes sense, 7w as the second term makes it a prime factor.
