Fun fact - the original ASCII binary codes were chosen to be readable. By eye I can tell that the data you posted around 0:30 is not text for instance - the first 3 digits only indicate if you are capital or lowercase, while the last ones are the same lower case and upper case and code for which letter of the alphabet you are on. I actually find binary easier to deal with in that sense then Hex, because I've found no such patterns there.

Thanks for sharing that! I'd give this comment 3 thumbs up if I could! It'd be nice if 1/!, 2/@, 3/#, 4/$ etc had landed the same way keyboards ended up landing.

Wow! Numbers are so fascinating. We should let the grade 3 class know...that we do use math in everyday life.🙂
@RealGameTitan4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! I'd want every third grader to know that math lets you represent the world in a way that you don't have to have an entire simulation of reality to predict things that will happen. It comes up in games a *lot* since many games involve physics and rotations, and it's deeply important for colors and shapes. I was originally going to call this video "how computers color and read and write and see and hear and talk" but wanted to experiment if this title would get more clicks. :)
