Thanks, hope you enjoy the pelagic! Normally so many birds to see on that pelagic that it is mind-blowing. Take lots of photos. I had a blast when I went on that pelagic a few years back.

I'm illiterate when it comes to sea birds. I've been to the beach twice in my life and that was many many years ago. Won't even try the quiz.🌾🌻

Can you see these at the beach, or do you need to out at sea?

If the weather is bad and there is a strong easterly wind, you may see some out at sea with binocs but generally they live over the vast southern ocean, so you would need to go on a boat or ship to see them.

Fantastic bird, unseen by the likes of me. Are they migratory or just any sea in particular. What island to they breed. I guess differing from species to species

They live over the open oceans all over the world. The Wandering can go right around the oceans in a full circle, here in the southern ocean. They are on the move all the time and don't spend time in one place over the ocean. They only go to land to breed and then they go back to the ocean. Many breed on the islands in the southern ocean like Marion Island, Gough Island etc.
