Is Databricks account different than Azure account? Sorry, slightly confused about it. Can you please explain?

Yes. Databricks is a seperate/different service/tool. It can be used with any cloud AWS,AZURE,GCP. Azure Databricks is something which we use from Azure portal. Also this playlist is Azure specific. So it is like how we can mount, process and link other azure services with databricks and use them.
