Pool Cat's 2 Key Principles to Running Any Rack are at it again. The 1st Key Principle is planning for the troubled 11-Ball. The 2nd Key Principle is planning to play shape on the 8 from the 10-Ball. Why did Pool Cat choose the 9-10-8 sequence?

I just forwarded this video to a teammate. I could watch a hundred more videos like this. I hope you keep making them This is exactly the knowledge that I am subpar in. You are definitely one cool cat

@@9livespool I read some of the other comments about a head camera and putting a cue ball with a contact point diagram on your videos. Personally, I am against both of those ideas I know how to make balls and your videos are not here to teach people how to make shots. I like the fact that they are short and to the point and cover the exact things that you should be thinking about when you're at the table. There are just a couple of things that I think could use some improvement on your videos. 1. Make sure the graphics that you draw on the table layout picture do not draw over any of the balls on the table. I stream from my tablet to my TV and the only picture on my tablet is the title picture. Keeping the graphics from covering the ball layout allows me to pause and guess at the run out before you do it. 2. Maybe just a couple second timer after the break so that it's slightly easier to pause the video and think before you start talking. Although to be fair, this is a rather minor issue. I do think the real knowledge to be gained here is testing myself to see if I am seeing the same things on the table that professionals are. But I really like the fact that your videos are short and to the point

@@shanesoldner9117 Great feedback. I used to allow a few seconds when I began, I have been mindful of not wasting time. I like the idea of making the paws more accessible. You are correct: max value if you think through it yourself and actively engage your pool mind. But the other stuff is good too. 😉 Cheers! Stay in touch and let me know what you think.

Love the theatrics, voice over, fabulous production and witty ad lib! May I ask what camera you use for the overhead? It's purrrfect!

Thank you. I use an action camera (GoPro). LOL. Probably not what you were expecting...but it does the trick.

is it possible to add headcam view? so we can see where we should strike the cue ball?
@9livespoolАй бұрын
I've tried with a headcam before but couldn't get good footage. I used the super-wide view and then warped it back (remove the fisheye) but IMO it looks bad. I tried the linear recording, too, but it would not get both the object ball and cue ball in the picture. I gave up on it. But I am here to help if you ever have a question, I will answer. There's a lot of stuff I show but don't explain because the videos would be too long. Plus, different players are at different stages. We can always get more in-depth in the comments. Which shot are you curious about?

@@9livespool i see,, no particular shot yet, or maybe you can add cue ball hit point inlay, like the one on the straight double kiss trick shot (which still i cant manage to execute🤣)
@9livespoolАй бұрын
@@delaarocha that's a tough shot; it takes a very accurate hit. Pay attention to where the cueball is going for feedback. Regarding the English...Pro tip: I stay very close to center cue ball. Control whitey and shoot easy shots. When I do use spin, it shows. I will give the diagram some more thought, no promises. It might be more beneficial to not show one. IDK. There are arguments for both schools of thought. But if it's not there, I will of course tell you. Good luck with the Double kiss!

@@9livespool thank you,, i'll include that trick shot on my daily drill for sure, coz i often find my 8 ball on that position, usually i kick it or bank it , sometimes i make it most often not 😅 when i manage that shot, my friends jaws will surely drop 🤣
