The tension rods are a great idea. I don’t think I’d feel comfortable storing my clean towels under the sink or my open tissue next to the cleaning supplies, but regardless of what us being stored, the tension rods are a great idea.

My problem with putting the paper towels on the tension rod: You're going to have to unload everything off the rod every time you need to put a new roll of paper towels on.

Another idea for tension rods is up on the back of the shower wall and hang wire baskets from it!

My favorite is industrial, modern, beach/farmhouse; ive never been a big fan of traditional, victorian, things like that.

I'm going to be moving into an apartment with a tiny bathroom and barely any storage, and the tension rods to make a shelf for towels is genius! I've also added the Godmorgan little set of drawers to my list of things to get once I get to my new place. It will be perfect for my makeup and brushes to help keep them clean and organized. I've also got some Bekvam spice racks to use in the bathroom on the wall for storage of hair styling supplies.

Great ideas - although I have never been able to get suction cup items to stick - they always tumble down and scatter / break the items in them. But the dowel idea is awesome!

You can buy inexpensive under sink organizers. They are adjustable width and height wise and the slats go around the plumbing. Mine is two levels high.

My favorite idea was the tension rod. I've seen before baskets in tension rods in pinteres. The back tension rod is a bit hire than the one in front then the basket is placed tilted so you can reach and see what's inside immediately. I haven't tried it yet but it is in my next shopping list.

The tension rods thing generally is just such a good idea id never have known !! That's my bureo I use for shoes sorted, under kuchen sink and possibly even a small mini makeshift wardrobe in this alcove I have !! Can't thankyou enough!!

If the matte black hook is for wet or damp towels, I have a better solution for those that have a shower rod. Get another one! Get a second shower rod that will sit behind the one holding your curtain and liner. Place it just far enough behind the front rod that you can easily place a wet towel over just the second one and have it drip directly into the tub. If you line it up right, it won't be noticeable from the front.

I use tension rods everywhere. I don't think I would use them for paper towels because I would have to take everything off of it to change the towels. Love your organizing tips.
