@@BackyardDesignGuy it’s insane! Finished! Can’t wait to share it! I’m revamping the channel to show a lot more project work. Had limited time with the two little ones this year so next year will be a little bit different format and I finally get to share some of the things that we do here in St. Louis. Not to say I haven’t learned a ton from your guys projects. Top-notch work!

I am watching this video outside with an electric heated throw blanket while drinking coffee. Lol i just plug it in next to my chair. It is my winter must have bc I LOVE starting my day in nature! It also allows me sit outside and watch the snow fall in the mountains with a cup of coco. ❤

Why do you recommend electric outdoor heaters as opposed to natural gas? Does one provide better heat? We are looking to install mounted outdoor heaters similar to the room at the start of the video.
@liamf6138Ай бұрын
Heat from gas rises - electric pushes. You lose more heat with gas ones.

These are all great ideas. The issue now, is to think about what's best for your situation. 🙂

Absolutely! That's why we strongly encourage 3d design. That way u can see the space and make sure u love it prior to starting construction www.backyardlivingguyde.com/3d-design-process

Outdoor kitchens and outdoor rooms really became a thing with Covid. In theory it sounds great but in practice, stay inside for the most part during winter. All the little critters love all the appliances and wires outside. Wiring must be licorice to them. Critters are cozy in above ground hot tubs and insulation of anything.

Great ideas as we start to think of a covered area for our new patio here in Oak Harbor, WA. Do any clients make a green house like structure for both plants and living space?

Hmm, I'm surprised? there are NO Links?? Someone's slacking .. :) ... I was hoping for a link to the heaters and more importantly to the screens that go down. but... I'll have to rewatch and get the name of them again, and google them..
@davidarnold95248 ай бұрын
Electric heaters are half the price and twice as efficient. They are odorless, silent and because the heat is directed right at you as opposed to gas, the clearances are less and as a result won't intrude on your space. They are virtually maintenance-free and are much more controllable, even with a smartphone app. They are more environmentally friendly in regards to greenhouse gases emitted, but you must factor in where your electricity comes from.
