What do you guys recommend to optimize 20 or so stops for meals on wheels, noncommercial?

Mapquest is probably a good place to check out -- they offer up to 26 locations for free on a single route. You can also check out this video of some of the best free route planners with unlimited stops: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKnQoaStbdysoas

These all suck for a guy who just doesn't wan't a monthly subscription and will pay only a one-time fee. I need up to 75 stops per day, no limits. What do you recommend? Why is this so expensive?
@Routific Жыл бұрын
We hear you -- we get this question a lot! We know a monthly subscription can look expensive, but our customers actually save money. Optimized routes are 20-25% shorter than manually planned routes, especially if you're doing as many as 75 stops a day. It would be interesting to take your monthly gas bill and see how much a 20% saving would be -- if it's $50 or more, you're already winning! There are free planners like Mapquest, but none of them will do more than 20 stops. It's because these services cost money to provide -- MapQuest pays for itself by using ads, but even they have a stop limit.

Mapquest is bugged right now messes up all the time and has a max of 26 stops. Flightmap doesnt have a website that i could find and when i found the software is was super buggy. route xl has a max of 23 stops or you have to "donate" paid in euros. if im going to pay for a route making its going to be better then these options

Hey Dave, thanks for your feedback! We agree it’s really hard to evaluate route planning software when the number of stops is limited, which is why we don’t put any limits, even on our free trial version. You’re welcome to try us out at Routific.com (no limits, and no credit card needed!)

IS THERE ANY APP WHICH CAN MAKE THE FASTEST ROUT FOR DIFFERENT GPRS LOCATION ( NOT ADRESS)
@Routific Жыл бұрын
Hi Ranji, our Routific app can handle locations expressed as latitude and longitude, and our routes are super efficient! The route planning does need to be in our desktop app, though. If you want more details our team at support@routific.com will be very happy to help.

Hi, sorry we can't help you on this one -- we mainly serve small to medium-sized home delivery businesses, so commercial truck navigation is a bit out of our expertise. Hope you find what you're looking for!

I've tried so many map apps that pretend to be free right up until the moment you start to use it. Does anybody know a free app that you can map out a giant circle and choose roads you want to ride on, not what buildings you want to go to.
@Routific Жыл бұрын
Hi, we're not aware of anything that can do exactly what you describe, but it sounds interesting! What exactly are you trying to do -- is it for deliveries, a bus route, recreational? It would help us narrow things down a bit.

@@Routific recreation, I'm trying to make short motorcycle routes around my general area, some of the area's don't have any buildings so there's no place to pinpoint, I need to be able to just drop a pin on an empty road and have it be recognized.

@Routific3 жыл бұрын
Hi Franklin 👋 To find the "route optimization" option, plot in your stops like normal, and just below your final stop, you should see an option that says "Should we re-order your stops to get the most optimized route?" Simply toggle this option, and Mapquest will automatically reorder your stops and optimize your route. Hope that helps!

Good Lord! these apps are expensive. i have been driving for 3 plus years, i talk to other drivers every day, and i have never heard of anyone paying more than $40 a month for a route app. i pay 15 and many work off the free versions. i use zeo app, i can do 70 stops a day, it keeps a history of every route and easy to export to my pc. what exactly are you getting for $200?? seems like extreme overkill. there is not a lot of money in this business, i dont know of anyone that could afford 200 a month.
@Routific2 жыл бұрын
Hi Joey, most of the apps we've reviewed here are actually for planners and dispatchers rather than individual drivers. It totally makes sense that $200 is too much to expect a single driver to pay! But for a small business that's managing multiple routes and drivers every day, things look a little different. Your question has flagged that we haven't made this really clear, though, so thanks! And we'll add Zeo to our next round of reviews :-)

@@Routific when i hear deliveries i think of driver, i would have said fleet or networks. 200 is really cheap, the place i work for pays over 1k a month.
