Beau de Jour is amazing ! 😍 but I had a weird journey on this one : - I first tested it at Sephora on paper and I loved the lavender opening and brought it a few day after with a discount without testing on skin. - When I tried it on skin id didn't liked the opening on my skin it was a little sharp for me and after 30minutes I started to smell the amber and the patchouli and WOW the dry down of this fragrance is pure magic 🪄 very comforting, masculine and classy at the same time it is hard to describe but the dry down is magical. - I initially bought it as a daily office fragrance, without expecting any compliment but weirdly the most compliments I got with this fragrance comes mainly from women It is in my top 4 fougères with Sartorial from Penhaligons, Chanel Boy and Chanel Platinum Égoïste ❤ (I personally prefer it to Fougère D'argent)

Great to see Tuscan leather on the list ! For me it is way better than Ombre Leather (more nuance and complex but also more distinctive in a way) ,but recently one of my best friends made ke discover Cuir Grenat fom L'Artisan Parfumeur and i prefer it to Tuscan Leather very similar but Cuir grenat is more fruity,

Other great TFs for Fall: For Men Extreme, Sahara Noir, Grey Vetiver EdP, Lost Cherry, Noir Anthracite (which I idiotically sold). I find most newer Tom Fords pretty lackluster, but the brand still has the occasional winner here and there. Beau de Jour and Fougere d‘Argent are good examples.

Seriously, TF Beau De Jour is a classic 'barber shop' scent. Does it smell like the original Zino Davidoff - Zino. Not even close. Zino has this Sandalwood and Patchouli vibe that still gets me after all these years. Sure I have most of TF's fragrance line, but Beau De Jour is clearly nowhere near old-school Zino. Granted, on the opening of the bottle's top, perhaps for like 5 seconds. (And Zino Davidoff can be purchased for an incredible bargain). Great channel Justin.

For what it's worth, Tobacco Oud is not discontinued. I found it at a cosmetic store in Italy in September so I snatched it up right away BUT when I got back to the states I realized it is readily available on Jomashop and has been the last month as of today.

That's fair because I see what you see. I also think it's just in the US just like they did YSL Babycat or Bleu Electrique because Harrods still carries it in the UK and when I changed the region in Google it was readily available at many different retail outlets (not just grey market sites) throughout Europe. I'd see why you shy away from suggesting it in that case. It just sucks that it's us here in the US that seem to always get shortchanged on options leaving the country first 🫤

I love Oud Minérale! I got a sample of it when i bought Noir De Noir and knew i had to have it. I am from the west coast of Sweden, so wet granite, salty winds…from the side, the ocean, sea weed, drift wood…sea gulls pooping in your latte. It’s home. Where i live now is just woods forever in every direction. This fragrance brings me home mentally, it is very ”me”. It also seams to have a slightly soothing effect on me. But like all Tom Fords it really projects on me. I’m interrupting the local banjo players. If i get complaints that their moonshine tastes like salmon i will just ignore it. 🤣

I wear TF Noir edt and edp when it's cold and raining. It has that old school Tussy deodorant smell vibe from the 70's & 80's what my dad use to wear and smokiness added to it.

Back in 1995, Dior Fahrenheit was my signature scent, and I still love it to this day, and only me and one of my friends can smell that cucumber note, others smell gasoline, but I don't get that, I do get the cucumber though. Till you mentioned this today, I thought we were the only two who can smell it.

I blind bought Zaharoff Signature Aurum. I don’t recommend blind buying it’s a risk but right now I’m 2 for 2 on blind winners. You did a piece on this Fragrance and I can’t explain it but it is definitely amazing. Cinnamon at first, honey just after, vanilla and hazelnut if you give it a little extra time. Lasted me for over 6+ hours it was amazing I recommend it!

@@yiyithewuster I’d say it’s definitely worth it. I did 3 sprays today with the 60ml option. Can confirm it’s not overpowering with 1/2 but 3 maybe tips the scales. Overall you may love the scent. I totally understand why they say it’s like a night time autumn 🍂 scent or winter nights kinda scent. Be sure to mix it up wearing it every day will make it lose its appeal and it’s truly worth it. I’m considering buying Second Soul next

I would consider costa azzura parfum because the dry down takes you to amber town in such a marvelous way...being from south europe that blend always spoke to me. At this time of the year, we have rain and sun kissing pines and cypress trees ..it all becomes very telluric in the most sensual way...and I know that for 90% of people this fragrance doesn't express sensuality ...but for me...oh man..Also, if you have the edp version and the noir extreme edp..and you layer them...that's a fall banger right there...I believe TF fragrances where often tought for layering...clever marketing moove...expensive but clever

Oud Wood I'm not very familiar with. Noir EDP and Noir Extreme Parfum are both beautiful never wore it on me, but on blotter and on my hand they are both lovely. I got Beau de Jour 1 year before Fougere D' Argent hit the market. Both are amazing & different, if both were available, I would've surely gotten the Fougere D' Argent. I first smelled Ebene Fume after a week or so from its elease. When Bois Marocain was released again I went to get it, but after sampling it, Ebene and Myrrhe Mystere, I ended up getting Ebene Fume!! The 3 have similar vibes & functionality but don't smell alike at all. I'd probably get Bois later on!! I have had Tuscan Leatehr since 2008, don't wear it alot because it is not the easiest profile, having said that, I loved it from first sniff, it is by far the most unique leather perfume I have and one of the best I smelled (along with Halfeti Leather). A timeless classic. Oud Mineral the new release is really nice and unique. TF is indeed one of the best houses, the only scent I don't like very much is the Black Orchid series. Grey vetiver is nice. Others that I love are Costa Azura and Italian Cypress (piney minty and almost aroma therapy, but very addictive). The only one I HATE is F***** Fabulous, what were they thinking (or not thinking) when they concoted it? Smells like something SAURON or one of his evil minions would wear (forgive me if you like it).

Man man! Noir extrême parfum wow i love it i will never go back to the edp compared the parfum it smell very girly the parfum are so masculin so sexy and mature at the same time... For me noir extrême le parfum it the one i will buy again and again.... But i i have to choose one gourmande fragrance between noir extrême le parfum and le male elixir without hesitation le male elixir even le male elixir are pretty for younger ( i look younger so i dont mind) it will my choice smell so great masculin for a gourmande. Le jpg are the only designer fragrance i love usely i gonna buy niche brands first before street design.
