This isn't a review of quality. It just tells the operating features. It's a sale pitch, not a review.

I have had at least 5 of these and they never last. I decided to open one to see why they start leaking. There are 2 main reasons they leak. The first reason is that they have a plug that has glue that is "supposed" to pop out if there is a freeze and thaw or higher pressure than the plastic can handle. The second reason is that the plastic is too brittle to handle the pressure that a typical household faucet provides and the plastic creates hairline fractures over time. I would not recommend these timers for drip systems and wary of using them for anything else.

You might want to put a pressure reducer between your outlet and the timer input.

Do you find that they cut down massively on the pressure output?

I've never had problems with my obits! They have been going for many years but I have decided to switch to a Bluetooth one so I don't have to run to my well house every time I need to turn it on and off since I went offgrid but most reviews I see have very limited range for the Bluetooth 😢

Has anyone managed to find a timer that works with unfiltered water with minimal sand particles ? Do ball valve timers fare better for such cases ?
