The true miracle of 8-bit is that you cant count on singers to cover the music up or have epic guitars. I is all about the tune and the beat.

Awsome dude. Sounds a lot like Nintendobrad's stuff. Quite short though. I know the original is too but you could loop it or something and bring it up to three minutes. If you're planning on doing any more tracks I'll definitely come back and check out what you've got going on. Don't know what games you're into really, but maybe an 8-bit version of the safe room song from Resident Evil? Haven't seen anyone do that and loads of RE fans would recognise it.

Can open, worms everywhere. I personally preferred SMB3, but probably not wise to say that too loudly when surrounded by SEGA fans. Either way, the Sonic games were awesome, and CD is one of the best of the bunch.

8-bit is NES and Master System. What don't you guys know about 8-bit?
@theironsword19547 жыл бұрын
That 8 bit doesn't define music, just the fucking numbers the processor can handle-and with some effort, you could convert a standard 8 bit processor into a god damn 64 bit processor.

Laugh all you want, but you'd be hard pressed to find an 8-bit Sonic game that WASN'T fun. (With the sole exception of Labyrinth of course.) There's a reason why the GG games are considered the cream of the crop for that particular little handheld.
@zyriuz213 жыл бұрын
so, does green hills zone sound like this in USA ? ;)

0:24 to 0:30 PERFECT. You got to listn to the orignal l=
@Crayshen15 жыл бұрын
Ew. Forgot about that one. Tails' Adventures and Sonic Chaos make up for that travesty though, the former being one of the best blasted Sonic games handheld or not, so the GG library gets a lot of slack from me. Hey, at least they never ported Eraser....

@LLproductions0115 жыл бұрын
how would that work? they call the game Sonic Cd and put it on a cartridge based system. That would be funny if that happened :D
@sonicking15 жыл бұрын
Good old sonic tunes, the new music while good lacks that sonic feeling and the new music sounds like its from another game seires instead of sonic. i even did a test on that got a none sonic fan that knows sonic and he thought unleashed was Mario galaxy, one thought it was starwars, while tunes like this and green hill zone u play that to anyone and they all know what it is and say "its sonic"
@geekymarianne15 жыл бұрын
If you already own it, then it's not reall ethically bad to torrent an ISO of Sonic CD and burn it yourself to a blank disc, to replace your scratched one - especially as the Mega-CD doesn't have any kind of protection against copied discs :) And, you can even replace the music with the far superior Japanese soundtrack!

1st part meant that you've just opened a can of worms. If you don't know what that means, look it up. Secondly, if you go out of your way to say that Nintendo are better PURELY because you want to upset SEGA fans, then you are a tool.
@shalpp16 жыл бұрын
It's using GXSCC GXSCC is a really really bad tracker and what is really gay is the people that make these "8 bit remixes" dont credit the original compser
