I think this is another one that gets around ice block. Since depth charge happens at the start of their turn, secrets won’t trigger.

I love it, but I'm confused Why does volcanomancy trigger so many times?

Whenever overkill triggers for each scarab, the volcanomancy effect just seems to appear. Only effect, no actual damage

Can someone explain to me why this okays out the way it does? I would expect it to draw 12 cards, tops, but it seems like it drew 24?

The minion has Overkill: Draw 2 cards

It seems overkill is programmed poorly. It should of course trigger when the 6 1/1s are put to -2 health. That draws 6x2 cards as expected. But then the second Volcanomancy puts those minions from -2 to -5 which somehow also is considered as overkill.

@@Quartan284 Okay! That makes more sense. I bet the game processes the second volcanomancy before processing their deaths, and doesn’t have anything checking if they’re already below 0 or not.

Update: it didn’t work. But warlock has some great synergy with Shallow Grave to get 6 in the deck; rod to discount with Void Terror to Destroy

playing firesale and the piper was the misplay since you now no longer have 2 minions guaranteed for the opponent the next turn, the dragons deathrattle wouldnt of triggered due to silas

It could actually have been the top card of the deck, it you note he draws one and then mills out everything else, so it's possible they were just unlucky, not stupid (in this particular regard).

Short version: The 2nd volcanomancy resolves before the game takes the dead scarabs off the board, so they can all get overkilled again.
