They usually have the number plate… it’s a just a case of waiting until it pops up on ANPR and intercepting somewhere quiet and safe. Too many people have died who were just out minding their own business and were hit by police cars. It’s just not worth it.

The cops are doing their job, the courts are not. Yet the U.S. prisons are full and we have the highest number of inmates, per 1000 citizens, of any country in the World. Our justice system needs a total overhaul, dammed the cost. Need faster courts with shorter, but harder, prison terms for first time offenders and longer jail times for career criminals. Some people may need life terms just to keep rest of us safer.

The one where the car crashed into the dump truck was Charles County Maryland. I remember when it happened. The cop was first shown driving on Rt 301 North. The accident happened on Mattawoman Beantown Rd.

Not too sure what is more hazardous to the public......the motorcyclist or the police pursuit. I think the solution is to install some cameras every 10 miles or so on the freeway. The recording will automatically issue a fine and ticket to the violator. This will alleviate the danger to both the public as well as the police in pursuits.
