Enjoyed stitching with you and good to see the steady progress you are making on this project . I know that sometimes it does feel like forever, but one day you'll be smiling at this whole piece hanging up. Happy stitching Vera. 😎🌻

Thank you so much! It is very rewarding to see the difficult parts stitched. Every time I look at a dark area, I'm happy I made it through :) Happy stitching!

Love my Lowery stand. Yes shipping is expensive but maybe look around Canada and see if they are any stores that sell them. I have the side clamp and the corner clamp. Love them both. I always use the standard "L" bar but could use one that is a little bit long as we got a new couch and the stm of the couch is wider. I have not used the Lowery stand with hoops. The biggest qsnap that I have used is 11×17 and found no troubles (the qsnap was going horizontal). I use the corner clamp with my 11x11 qsnaps and the slide clamp with my 8x8 qsnaps. Enjoyed stitching with you 😊

It is so reassuring to hear everyone describe how the Lowery is working just fine with the 11x17 q snap. I think most of the stitching I do, if not all can fit very comfortably in it. Thanks again and happy stitching!

Love my lowery! I have the extra long bar and large frame adapter. For lights, I’ve used clamp on lights that plug in my usb hub on the table next to me. Currently using a clip on reading light that lights up the section I’m working on just fine. Largest frame I have is 48”. It wobbles so having weights on the base or under the leg of cough matters. Was great stitching with you Vera!

Thanks for the tips! It sounds like you have a comfy arrangement. What do you use for weights?

20 lb of barbells but I saw someone use a ruck plate and pln to get one soon. Nice and flat!

I love my Lowery! I too live in a small apartment, and the Lowery is so discreet and doesn't take up any space at all. I'm not sure how it would handle larger, heavy frames, but hoops and q-snaps it holds great (even the 11 by 17). I don't even have the corner clamp which is for q-snaps, I have the default clamp, and I use a piece of shelf liner to grip the q-snap.

Thank you! This is great to hear! My largest q snap used to be the 11x17 until I split it up with another q snap 8x8. It's great to know that it can hold up to the largest I'm possibly can assemble at the moment.

I'm currently working on a L100 Omanik Frame and I use two lowery stands with the default clamps to hold it up, one on each side bar and just pull up my office chair under it and start stitching. It's still easy to dismantle and move around if I need it to, but I also don't have to worry about it falling over time when I leave the frame in it. I do stitch two handed with the twin pointed needles though, so I tend to use my frame as an arm rest for the top hand. A weight on the bottom of the lowery stand helps balance it and stop it rocking.

I have never heard of using two stands... That makes sense to keep balance. Do you stitch on the couch or an arm chair as well or just with an office chair?

@@verasstitchingcorner I've done it on the couch with a smaller frame using one of the stands and it works with the armrest and a pillow to the height and an extra one for back support. Instead of moving yourself to stitch on a spot I moved the stand to get the frame where I wanted it. I'm sure you've heard this before where you want your stitching to come to you rather than you go to your stitching. It did take a couple days to get it right and comfortable. I imagine an arm chair would be like. a bigger office chair.

i stitch in bed with the Needlework Table and Lap Hands-Free Stand from all about embroidery UA on etsy and i really like it! it has a clip in frame built inside so doesn't work with a hoop of a q snap but i really like it for bed, couch and even table

Do you exclusively stitch in bed? I tend to travel around when I'm stitching non HAED projects...

Only recently discovered your channel and Im hooked. I also do a lot of full coverage and curious to know your method. How do you handle confetti stitches? I waffle between cross country and parking and curious to know what you like ☺️☺️

Welcome!! Confetti can get rough haha. I usually stick with cross country, bus I approach is systematically. I try to never leave open stitches behind, because it’s hard to see them and reach to those through the bulk. Also, different charts benefit from different approaches, so I’m experimenting as I go :) happy stitching!
