Singapore Airlines has the most beautiful flight attendant uniforms. I ran into a Singapore cabin crew in the hotel lobby in Frankfurt years ago, and they were the most polite crew I have ever met.

Running into your crew mates during a layover can feel a bit awkward, especially when you prefer doing your own thing, lol. While I definitely miss flying, I find I actually miss the little moments even more-the excitement of preparing for a flight, strolling through the airport, waking up in a beautiful hotel, or simply lounging in bed and indulging in TV shows in another language all day. It’s these small joys that I cherish just as much, if not more, than the flying itself.

Isn't Japan awesome?! I went a few years ago to Tokyo for a week. There is no other place like it! I usually fly SIA to the UK from New Zealand as my husband is from the UK so we go back to see family every few years. The SIA cabin crew are always so lovely and look immaculate, even after working a 12 hour flight! Have you ever been to NZ? If not, you should try and get a flight here! Especially to Christchurch, which as you will know is a direct flight. I promise you won't regret it 😄

Have flown Singapore Air many times to Bangkok and to Cebu-Mactan Scout. Living from Washington state and now Singapore comes into Seattle. Formerly had to had travel to SFO. The FA are so gracious and beautiful and great to see you on street clothes and everyday life. Living in Cebu now with my wife. Always wanted to layover in Singapore to tour the terminal there and the city. We are thinking of a 2 day stop there. Going to Europe. Thanks

Helpful vid. I'm currently taking a human factors in aviation class (yes, it is as dry as it sounds, like burnt toast dry), and getting this behind-the-scenes knowledge is very helpful. Back in April, I flew SQ for the first time, and on the return leg from Kuala Lumpur to Changi, it was an A350 because of the traffic on Eid weekend. I was able to chat with the cabin crew, and I asked how may days off does the crew get when they do that marathon 18 hr Changi-New York flight, and they replied 3 days at a hotel in the city, which I was glad to hear. As a native NYer, I feel no one should have to spend time in New Joisey if they don't have to.

Hello! I don’t think I can make a video for that, sorry 🥺 I can give you a simple tip. Your room will probably cost around 1000sgd and you need to pay 1 month rental as deposit. You will be paid basic during training and after paying rental you can barely survive with the money so you need to bring more money to survive 4 months training + 1 month flying before your first pay comes in. Hope this helps 💞

All the time except take off and landing, but I prefer not to wear at all during the flight. You can observe them next time when you see them in the airport or in the flight, or even google it because it's their iconic look :)

Have you ever experience delay take-off on a SQ flight and stuck at the Airport Talmac for 8 hours because of fog? By the time the plane takes off and heading back to Singapore, the pilot announced mid-way that the plane would be landing at Bangkok because the cabin crews weren't allowed to work more than 15 hours (I think)...so eventually the plane arrived in Singapore more than 12 hours late 🤣🤣🤣
