Sorry, as a lifelong cowboy and rancher (I’m 63), I have to disagree. Only 4 types of cowboys. 1. Drugstore (not really a cowboy). 2. Feedlot. 3. Rodeo ( athletes that use livestock for their sport). 4. Ranch (they are the only real cowboys).
