You did not mention it, but Walmart also delivers groceries to Disney World Resort Hotels and their prices are much better than Amazon or Garden Grocers. Before Covid, when I was going to the parks, I'd load up on the Target gift cards for the 5% off and use my Annual Pass discount, usually 10%, and use that for my tip for lunch. Then I'd add in another 5% or so for the tip at dinner. When you're paying for 4-5 people, that really ends up being a big help!

For Black Friday, Sam's Club has their $500 gift cards on sale for $450. There's a two card limit and they can be bought online!! You can buy them starting the 25th (Thanksgiving)

For the military members or going with a military member. Outside of the tickets, there is a exchange and commissary outside of the MCO airport. It requires a military ID, but it’s a full department store and grocery store when in Orlando. The exchange at Shades of Green is small and is more souvenir driven.

What I have tried to do that has saved me money is to visit Winn Dixie and get water bottles , snacks , breakfast and lunch stuff there . It costs less than buying on Disney property and cuts down having to go to sit down services and do lunch and breakfast in the room and have water bottles in my vehicle for my travel. AP has saved me money on everything along with being a DVC member. Great video with great advice.

I don't see how you couldn't mention the Disney Visa Card. When my family went to WDW last January I had a Rewards card from using my Disney Visa that had $990 FREE MONEY! (Yes I know what I had to spend to get that much 😏). I allocated that for my family of 4 to use for food & it barely covered our 5 day trip. But hey, it was like a free Disney Dining Plan! I've been a cardmember since day 1 but have used those rewards perks a ton of times (esp when you had the character meet n greets at Epcot). Totally worth it.

Great tip on AAA for the park tickets.. blew my mind that spending $35 for a yearly membership will save you almost $300 on park tickets for 6 days (2 adults and 2 Kids)(Park hopper and Genie plus) Thats pretty significant.

I wish Disneyland had more refillable popcorn buckets, they have them occasionally but not often and not for everyone. That is definitely something that the Florida experience has over the California experience.

“Plastic water bottle after plastic water bottle at 5 bucks a pop” If you are übering, consider adding a Target Drive Up stop. That same $5 will buy you a 6 pack of anything they sell at the parks. We’ve saved about $100 that way when we couldn’t use magical express. We didn’t carry around tons of bottles with us either. Think about if each family member leaves with a bottle and returns wanting another one. For a family of 3, that’s 6 in one day. $5 instead of $30

Alas, Disney pulled the plug on their Annual Passes, except the week day lowest tier pass... the day before I was going to purchase my annual pass... So now my husband has one and I do not. Wish Disney would relax with they money grab. I love Disney but these negative changes are starting to feel like they really don't care about being accessible to normal people.

Correction, Annual Pass Holders get only 10%-!5% discounts on dining and Vacation Club Members are eligible to get the Sorcerer's Pass. I am a Vacation Club Member and I have not been able to find any dining disounts of 20% at any Disney World restaraunts. I have the Sorcerer's Annual Pass and I am not a Florida resisdent.

With a target red debit or credit card anything you buy from target, including Disney gift cards, is 5% off (for $100 Disney gift card, you pay $95 with your red card). You can buy unlimited Disney gift cards online from target, combine them on the Disney gift card site, and use them to pay for tickets, on property hotels, dining, souvenirs and it will be equivalent to saving 5% off your trip. I recently bought $800 worth of gift cards to save $40 on disney tickets!

That wouldn't be straight to consumer. That would be straight to store. The store would be an in-between, and the cost of running a brick-and-mortar store would drive up the prices when they could instead ship the stuff straight to consumers.

The best way to save money...don't go. Staying home will save you a *lot* of money, that you'd otherwise have to spend on travel to and from the park, accomodations, the ticket just to get in, food, and that's before the optionals like Genie+ and merch.
