I am not kidding..I stay away from art because of the mess ... I lay plastic sheet, i keep a wiping cloth near me, I will wear the oldest PJ's ,u name it its there when I attempt to do something with colour.. but I will still manage to make a mess or dirty some area.you need to take a video on tips and tricks for successfully doing an art project without mess.
@NestArtfully3 жыл бұрын
Hahhah oh you were referring to the messy aspect! Now that you mention it I'm surprised too, I used to make a mess, now I've just gotten more used to being careful around lighter colours... I wear them so that the focus is on the DIY and I don't distract 😅

Nice idea .... please do the video on jar lids decoration or reuse...My lids are rusted .... it may be helpful for me ...
@NestArtfully3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I simply clean them and paint them, most durable is synthetic paint but I usually paint only the outside if it is for storing food... if painting inside its always safer to use paint made for such usage and safe to come in contact with food.... usually mildly rusted caps just painting with oil based paint will resolve... heavy rust will need to be sanded and removed before painting

Thank you so much, I'm not sure how I formed the interest but I've been interested in creative hobbies since my childhood, I'm a visual learner and I tried diys around my home whenever I found time, it has become a more regular process because of this channel. I think most kids have creative hobbies at some point growing up but kind of push it to the background as more important tasks start coming up 🙂

@NestArtfully3 жыл бұрын
I'm no expert on the health matters of candle fumes, I would use standard wax and I think that is mostly ok from a health perspective. If adding fragrance natural oils are better :)

Is it possible to remove the paints or decals from the glass?
@NestArtfully3 жыл бұрын
The glass paint is meant to stay and not come off even in a dishwasher, same with the etching, but other types like spray paint and chalk paint can be removed even though it would be a messy and time consuming job, easiest non-permanent options are the craft cloth/paper, washi tape, masking tape and decal stickers :)
@harinirajagopalan99673 жыл бұрын
@@NestArtfully Thank you. Nice ideas.
@garima68133 жыл бұрын
Great! But how did you dry the glass paint inside the bottle? I tried a few days back only... And it kinda flowed down due to gravity
@NestArtfully3 жыл бұрын
Hi Garima, yes I can imagine, I had to keep swirling it around and holding it in a horizontal position for some time before I let it drain and dry, also the yellow came out better in this method than blue, so maybe try with yellow, somehow the colours seem to work differently :) Also the bottle should be clean and dry, the product manual suggested cleaning with rubbing alcohol prior to use...
@garima68133 жыл бұрын

Plz put video on room decor with peacock feather ❤️
@NestArtfully3 жыл бұрын
Wow that's super specific, instead of the actual feather itself I would use the design of the feather in either like a cushion cover or wall art or maybe detailing such as coasters or tray etc...
@artistvrinda3 жыл бұрын
@@NestArtfully i hv feathers right now . Bt dont know how to decor my room. Plz help me.
@NestArtfully3 жыл бұрын
You could try using them inside frames against different coloured paper backgrounds or you can overlay the feather with a paper that has a hole in it the size of the central design for a peep hole kind of effect.. otherwise you can simply keep it in a nice tall vase in a corner of the room...if you really want to go crazy, maybe you could do a wall mural painting with the feathers as the central feature 👍🏼
