And you forgot to add. DON'T pick surge when you have the first star power equipped. (I've ran into this situation enough times that I must say it, Most of the time I find people using SURGE with the first star power and proceed to die after using it on someone and fail MISSERABLY and do it again after eventually getting his super back with the bricks on his shoes. Just stop picking surge if you have that thing equipped)

I have a question. Is it preferable to choose a non optimal brawler that has reached power 11 or a optimal brawler that is underleveled on power 9? Cause recently, I had a wild match with a Nita and Surge on a map where everything blows up, but man I really carried those two with my passive healing Gene.

find a happy medium. how good are you with the lvl9 compared to the lvl11? how "sub optimal" is this brawler? you can pick carl cuz hes not terrible, but you cant pick doug pre buff. both are sub optimal. find the balance of ur skill between lvl9 and lvl11 and how optimal these picks are. happy brawling! hope you understand

@@efiestin5436 that's a pretty good explanation. I guess I'll have to draft for randumbs myself to achieve this. At least for me, that's not a problem. I have all brawlers with power 10 or higher, and power 10 brawlers are too outside the meta right now to worry.

If you're really good with your level 9 that is probably the better option tbh. Just work on upgrading 4-5 of your best brawlers to max and pick one of those each game depending on map and modifier and you'll win a lot easier than you are

I think if you’re Diamond plus dodging once in a while is probably fine. You’re not “instant banned” for dodging for a reason - like it’s basically a mechanic. The best tacticians realize that sometimes it’s better not to fight. Also afaik your rank resets from a dodge after 3 completed games.

I think using Brawlers that I'm bad with was my biggest mistake. I'm not good at sharpshooters and I used Angelo and then lost most matches I played with him but I'm pretty decent with Buzz so I won a lot of matches with him.

Thinking again, I was actually decent with Angelo as I won a bounty match carrying with him. But the time I lost badly is when I used him in Heist when enemies can easily block charged arrows with their body to protect their safe and get so much damage on my safe while I was charging shots.

Even in quickfire most of the maps are long range , whenever I pick for an example griff on quickfire longrange map I cant even get close and im just getting destroyed by pipers and brocks. I always pick between edgar and mico in maps with bush and walls. Otherwise I go griff. I believe I'm an excellent edgar player. I have won soo many games with edgar while hard carrying sometimes. It's just that most other people don't know how to play edgar. They don't realise that despite having a low skill cap, edgar can be played well when good strategy is applied.

I think that the problem with Edgar is that on lower ranks, everyone plays him the exact same way: 1- Use gadget 2- Jump on a low hp or weak brawler 3- Either get a kill or die 4- Repeat

@@kaka_445 yeah I don't do that. I use the shield gadget to get out of sticky situations. I patiently wait for edgar's super. Once he gets it, I'm unstoppable. Then I keep cycling supers. I also always target tanks cuz they are juicy to attack and recharge super on. Tldr: I know how to play edgar.
