8 Don to Finish Thunderhill 24Nov2024

Note - Clock on dash is 1 hour fast.
I believe the track was just coming off a FCY while I was waiting to be released. While Spec Pinata's Pit Stop was only 1.4 secs slower than ours, their out lap was 1min 16secs slower than mine because of the yellow. That was the diff from us in lead to them in 2nd. Now I have to defend that for 2 hours!!!

36:40 - Begin Fastest Lap
40:00 - Finish Fastest Lap - 0.17 secs slower than Mark’s! Dang it ;-)
1:06.40 - Little slide, like Mark’s ;-)
1:08.20 - Little O Crap moment…
1:08.30 - Sun becoming an issue!
1:30.20 - This Safety Truck really freaked me out - big hit to lap time - I thought I lost at least half of my lead!
1:48.20 - Good Lap for really late in the day…
1:51.40 - 177 catches us for the 7th time in the race…
1:57.00 - Much to Kurt's chagrin, Jeremy and I decide he'll slow down and let me catch him so we can cross the line together.
1:58.50 - We take the Checkered Flag together!! 1st Place in A Class and 1st Place in B Class! Great driving everyone :-).
321 was Flawless all 14 hours and the drivers kept her wheels round!!
What a result after 2 years of struggles!!!
1:59.20 - We finished 9th Overall with Spec Pinata and one of the Silver Fern miatas on the same lap in 10th and 11th overall, after 14 hours!
