It's mind-blowing that I watched this video, and when it was over I expected the view count to be in the hundred thousands but it wasn't even close, and I'm only just a little behind in subscribers. I just want you to know that speaks volumes of your quality, you've earned another subscriber from a fellow content creator. I'll definitely be using this info to level up my game, thank you for making this 🙏😄

Hej! Thanks for the video, really great! I'll start using the b-roll stuff! Btw, just a little feedback, your facecam crops at the neck which is usually a no-no of cropping. I research framing quite a lot for my own videos and apparently making sure that your hands appear in the frame is a good thing. Cheers and keep it up!

Thanks man, another great and useful tips! I see you use sound effects with your transitions too. How much do you think that plays into retention and where can I find some free woosh sounds?
@justcreateryan
@justcreateryan Жыл бұрын
I would say it can help, but I try to stay away from spamming SFX because that can ruin a video quickly if its taken to far. I know envato has woosh sounds but with MisterHorse each transition has a whoosh sound built in with it so makes it super simple

I'm still having a hard time with audience retention. So anyy tips on thumbnails, more audience retention and anything that you might find helpful to a new creator. I really want to get the first 30 seconds up so maybe something that would help in that very first part of the video? Thanks for everything you do and I hope the feedback helps.

To summarize: - Use B-Roll footage (edit in necessary footage that show more information about the current part of a video) - Get creative with your B-Roll footage/screenshots (try doing zoom-in, zoom-out, digital camera movements in the video and transitions) 2:51 vs. 2:54 - Watch your B-Roll footage carefully and have it start immediately from the part of the action (when the person is doing something), before just putting in your video. 3:16 vs. 3:21. The guy in clip 2 already started stroking his chin, instead of looking at the camera and moving his hand to his chin first - Get creative with your background music (For example: have the music stop at a certain point to emphasize what you say or do, or even start the music at a certain point. Also if your video is really long, like 6 minutes or more, use different music for different parts of the video, but put extra thought into what music fits more here and there. You don't always have to add music, just do it if you feel the video is too boring) - Use transitions where you think it would look cool, and use zoom in or zoom out to also emphasize somethings - When you use zoom-in, pick a spot of the screen for where your eyes should be and try to keep your eyes on that specific spot of the screen every time you zoom in 5:54 - Watch your video carefully, then decide which parts should be cut out and which should be left in. No matter how short or long the video ends up being, just as long as it's full of 100% good content, it's a good video.

Ryan I enjoyed your video .. keep it up You know ? a year ago I used to have 30k-250k views per day ... but I was lucky since I was doing trends now I have only 2-4k views per day after a very long time I understood what was missing to this big puzzle called youtube .. my videos had an extremely low AVD (averaged duration time) started since April 1st making 2-3.30 min videos , all these videos have 50-63 % AVD (average duration time, the first 30 sec of these videos all have 63-74% AVD , all these videos have a CTR between 4.8-8 % I have applied many things , like end screens to direct to another specific video , optimizing them , trying to bingwatch my content , AVPV (average view per viewer) so to have longer session time per viewer from April 1st 2024 , I started to publish 1 video in 2 days .... since 2 days ago I started to publish everyday ... I know you may say you don t need but actually I don t have something else to do , so why not not to post a quality video every day. Since I am in coking niche the only thing to do to increase my AVD from 50-65 % per video to go up to 60-70% there are 2 ways : 1 to invest in the short future maybe investing In a new kitchen and more beautiful and the 2nd is not in my hand Mr beast in one video said ,,,, if your views liked a video of yours chances will be much higher that your next CTR to be higher because they will be clicking ... so with other words to wait that youtube snowball to start giving effects my only question is do you think my channel will blow up again ? is just matter of time ? or I am missing any last piece of puzzle?

These are actually great tips... But i need to give you constructive criticism, on something not mentioned with your work... Your composition of your head shot is wrong. The eyes are not supposed to be in the middle of the frame. They are supposed to be on the top line of a rule of thirds! What you're doing is presenting you as weak and amateur. Too much headroom, nearly cutting you off at the neck, and it's simply offputting feeling as if you're a kid trying to peak on top of a counter. For reference of what it should be, is nearly every single move ever made and film/composition theory. Trust me on this. you won't be able unsee it. say no to eyes in the middle of the frame and just do a little education on this for yourself. please! AGAIN, great content!
