I am a little confused about how to really go about writing an appropriate profile. I am a former teacher, but none of the gigs I want to offer relate to education. There are several passions I have that I would like to offer on the platform ( voice overs, artwork, etc.) and although I have an idea of how I can connect them to the skill of teaching, I am not sure if I would be doing it correctly in order to actually sell. Can anyone offer tips?

I would say the gigs you offer don't have to apply to teaching at all! If you want to mention your former teaching experience, think of the skills you got from that job and how they apply to what you want to do now. For example, you could say that teaching taught you how to communicate and speak well, so that translates to voice overs!
