BEAUTIFUL!!! What kind of brush are you using with the mica powder?

Thank you Vicki. In this video I used a brush that came with the mica powder but you can use make up style brushes. I would suggest a small tipped or stipple brush to add the mica to the surface. Then a wide soft brush to blend in and buff up the colour. I hope this helps ?

This was such a fun video to watch….the 3D embossing folders are so popular now and this gives us all lots of new ideas on how to “stretch” their use. Hi, wonderful video, thanks for all your hints and tips, I have bought a number of her embossing folders a couple with the dies. I used craft card and embossed it with the variegated folder then swiped yellow, brown, orange and red across it to get the autumnal look, I’m all Lisa Horton just now, love her stuff, I’m waiting for the ulti-mate and the wild flowers set to arrive, I’m surprised there are not too many videos with the wild flowers set I love it, thanks again, take care.

What a fantastic video! Soooo many good ideas explained and demonstrated so well. What is the brush you use for your perfect pearl powders. It’s double ended and looks like a great tool for the powders.

@@kathyshortt6982 to begin with I stroked sticky Embossing ink ( I use WOW) over the embossed card. Then I brushed over the mica powder and smoothed it in. Finally. if you need to fix it in place lightly spray fixative spray or hairspray over the top. I hope that helps.

I don’t know which side of the folder to ink up?

Hello Julie. It depends upon the effect you want to achieve. The first time you try. Ink up both sides of the folder. Use some scrap card. Run it through your machine and see which side you prefer. Generally. The ink settles on the raised up areas. I hope this helped :)
