The Same is happening here on Gran Canaria, canary Islands. People are pretty angry abt tourists and they are screaming at them and also Hit them. Tourists Go Home!! Prices for Food, rooms, Hotels Are extremly high and still increasing

That sounds horrible for tourists! But it's clever on the other countries' part!

I live partially in Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In Munich there are often so many tourists that I refrain from going downtown for shopping. The centre is overcrowded! In Garmisch there are two problems: 1. transit traffic to the south (Austria, Italy) and 2. weekenders. The traffic strains the town and villages around Garmisch especially when it comes to traffic jam. All landmarks / sights are overrun so if I go hiking I´ll do that during the week. Tourism might be good for the natives and the economics but overtourism really is a pain in the neck cause the quality of life is minimized.
