I'm also a software developer and bought a used house in so so condition 3 years ago, not far from Sweden (Latvia). I noticed that works on the house never ends, it's like eternal project, there is always something to improve/fix/change. And if you feel that house is almost hospitable, there is always million things to do in the garden. It's important to take days off from time to time and enjoy already achieved otherwise it starts to feel like slavery. I also discovered that spending all spare money on house makes me depressive, so went on a well earned road trip for two weeks in this summer, that also helps the "house burnout". House is important but it should not be center of whole life. Sorry for my poor English.

I’ve been binge watching all your videos you’ve posted. The quality, views and your first time moving to a different country, making your first home purchase and mainly doing all the renovations yourself is a dream, goals and motivation. Thank you David ❤

You are a really good storyteller. Im sure you will have a lot of subscribers. People a getting tired of endless talks only seeing the face of the creator. Top notch editing, good eye for scenery. Great music and a well balanced mix of background narration and seeing you in front of the camera talking. Nice!

Im from Belgium and my boyfriend is Danish, so I am often up there in the North altho not as far as you. Seeing my home country as something new and exotic through the eyes of someone else is really fascinating. The sequence at 3:40 is so mundane no one would dream of filming it. Yet It's fascinating to watch you discover your new surroundings. Edit: Watched the whole video now and there's some fantastic shots in this one really underlining how blind we get to the everyday scenery.

Oh gosh! Where to start? First of all, greetings from neighbourhood, Finland. Views there with old houses and nature looks about same as here. But yeah, you mentioned about lights in some video. It's magical, sometimes forget it, while living here "north" all my life. Sometimes is hard to see what's in front of you 😅 Admire here you trip, and things you do. Renovating step by step that old house. Changing your cultural home from a busy town to Swedish county side. Silently tell your story here with really nice videos. But seem you have skills to turn things you touch to gold. 😊 Looking forward to see how things develop there. Thank you about these videos 😊

Would you mind to make a "behind the scenes" video, where you explain in depth how you create your videos (i.e. which drones do you use, how do you setup your scenes).. I imagine, it's quite a chore to film oneself even just driving up a road (setup, actually drive, come back to collect the camera). How much longer does a task therefore take?

Heute habe ich also deinen youtubechannel entdeckt. Ich bleibe also weiter Kundin deines Video-Repertoires.
